Hi guys, i’m currently looking at a budget karaoke setup for my home living room. I’ve been considering getting the popsical remix and connect it to my Yamaha soundbar(Yas 108). However my soundbar only has a Analog (AUX?) input, would it work with the popsical remix device?
Also, i’m also concern if the popsical + soundbar would be good enough to have a decent karaoke experience at home as well as whether it would be disturbing to my neighbours if i have no soundproofing done to my house.

Can any kind bros here share with me your experience and opinion with this product? TIA

Should be straightforward to connect Remix to your Yamaha soundbar via the Popsical analog OUT to the Yamaha analog IN. Your Popsical HDMI out to TV HDMI in.

As for the soundbar, its usually the subwoofer (if you have one) that could disturb the neighbours because of the low rumble and vibrations.

Thanks for your response. So both the music video music and also the mic sound output will come out through the soundbar? In that case does the mic still able to project the voice echo like a typical karaoke or would it be very flat?

Are you a user of the popsical remix? Any reviews on the quality of it?

I have a Popsical Remix sitting on top of my LG soundbar. I have stopped using it for more than 3 months now as my grandkids have stopping using it. I stopped the subscription which charges $10 per month.

The Remix system is minimalist but is buggy and not user friendly. The worst part is that the Remix pug does not have digital out to the soundbar, so I had to connect to my old hifi system with amp.

Hello,

Can I get some advice from you guys.
I got a popsical remix and at first i connected it to LG Sj3 soundbar but the vocal sound is horrible.
So I went to get a digital sound converter and connect it to my living room Samsung N950 sound bar. Sound is better but when singing louder or at higher note, it will have distortion sound and sometime the mic sound will stop awhile.

Anyone experience with that on soundbar?

I'm thinking if I can get a AC Ryan Boombox for vocal output while using the existing Soundbar for background music playback.

Thanks!!

I just got the Popsical Remix. I connected it to my amplifier, which is connected to my projector and home theatre speakers. There is a problem of audio delay when using the Popsical Remix microphones. Does anyone know, if the audio delay can be solved by connecting the AUX output from Popsical Remix to another soundbar, instead of my amplifier?

Hi all, i am currently looking to purchase a karaoke soundbar. Having owned the bulky big speakers and amplifiers with mixer before, i decided that this time round i wanted something simple and dont need too much space.

So i did my own google search and found a few places in town selling the karaoke soundbar. For the past 3 days, i visited MBkaraoke first, then Powerhouse and lastly AC ryan at SLS today. Other than AC Ryan moment 2 which is its own product, the rest of the other retailers actually get their product from china factory and rebrand the soundbar as their own brand.

Throughout the 3 places, i am most satisfied with the Powerhouse soundbar the most as it gives me the most similar feeling to a KTV session. The AC Ryan Moment 2 is definately decent but still lacking abit behind.

I have read this whole thread in hopes of finding more discussion on the karaoke soundbar from Powerhouse but there isn't any shared. I know it is the most expensive of the 3 at $799 but the quality is the best of the 3 i tested. Seems like majority of the people in this thread brought the AC Ryan moment 2 only.

Being the cautious buyer myself, i am trying to find reviews for this Powerhouse soundbar before making a purchase decision. Hope there is someone who owns this soundbar can share your experience so far of the soundbar and any issues with it? :D

Is looking at power house as well.... Not much reviews is being shared here

Just bought a Samsung q80r soundbar.
Any recommendation of simple ktv setup?

You will just need a wireless microphone (UHF) system. If you can find rechargeable ones, that would be good, if not, use AA batteries.

I recommend getting from TB if you just need a simple system. :D

get a mixer ( e.g. yamaha, etc cost abt $300) with usb connect to ur pc.
mixer has 3 mic jacks and abt 20 plus sound effects including reverb and echo, essential for karaoke.
Just connect ur speakers to the mixer and look at all internet karaoke tracks on ur monitor, and voila, complete home karaoke set , sing to eternity.
No need monthly sub.
enjoy:)
