My dermatologist is also telling me to go for that but the high cost is a factor. Plus I have tried ciclosporin and once you stop it everything comes back.

Perhaps you should try G3 and ultimate DUo.
It doesnt cure but atleast it wont worsening.

As far I know, it is an allergic disease. A person suffering from it need to avoid in contact with that substance which causing it. I've Eczema in my feet area between bridge and ankle area for last ten years. I went through different well experienced skin specialists but couldn't get rid off Eczema till now. However I observed it only creates any problem when I eat a specific kind of vegetables. Whenver I avoid consuming those vegetables, I do not notice any symptoms of Eczema.
So in my opinion, it is better to avoid consultation with allopathic doctors to cure it. Rather, you should find out what cause the erruption of symptoms of Eczema and try to avoid that as far as you can.

Throughout the years, I had tried prednisone, azathioprine, MTX and now dupixent. Mostly given by the rather famous Loke Skin Clinic in this forum.

Unfortunately, Eczema come back every time after I am taken off the medication. This part of the year is the best for me as my eczema flared up most badly during summer/ hot weather.

My company will be changing insurance provider next year and they no longer cover dupixent cost. I will need to be back on MTX very soon again. It is quite depressing since dupixent is really a miracle drug that enable me to live like a normal person for the past 1 year+ with zero steroid usage.

hmm. this may not be helpful. but do check your gut, eczema could be a result of some underlining problems.

Western medicine and diagnosis has always been surface level. at least thats what i feel.

Just to share i went see dr yang n yap.
Total cost $300ish. Given herbs to soak in water and bath with. Also got 2 types of cream. One to apply before shower in morning and another after shower morning n night.

My eczema was really bad with discharged all that. Skin thinning after years of steroid creams fr poly. The escema also covers big portion of both thighs and arms and scattered my bodies and shoulders.

A few days after using the usual discharged and pus dries up. 1 week later it really shows big improvement. I no longer woke up seeing all the stains on my bed.

Very big improvements. Now i stop using the herbal bath.. just the creams.

Just wanna share about my experience with Dr Yang and Yap as well.

I've suffered from eczema for about 10 years now (upgraded to severe eczema since 5-6 years ago after it blew up during NS) and I've tried many different treatments. I've visited atas specialists in Paragon and less atas ones at NSC and CGH. I've tried gluten free, meat free, seafood free, fried food free, spicy food free diets. I've taken health supplements and tried eating more collagen. I've also tried a couple TCMs and for a period even brewed and drank a damn disgusting mix of dead bats and other herbs.

Then I decided to do my own research (last time always go for recommendations from friends and family) and then I saw this comment, which spoke to me because I had pus around my feet and sometimes face. Went to book an appointment and started using the herbal bath. Lo and behold, within 3-5 days I saw HUGE improvements to my skin. Pus dried up, significantly less flaky skin, and physically and mentally I felt so much more confident. My bed and floor is no longer scattered with piles of dead skin (still got a tiny bit but no where near as much as before).

I started his treatment since August, and now I am only using his creams daily and his herbal baths every other day. I now have quite bad acne though, perhaps from my skin generating oil again...I will need to seek treatment elsewhere for that but this is seriously a small price to pay for the improvements to my eczema.

One thing to note, his treatment is very very expensive. Damage in the first 2 months of consultation was around $3k or more if I remember correctly. But really no regrets. Now I can sweat without itching and scratching like mad. Also started wearing short sleeves again. If anyone considering, can just get the herbal baths and try first, that will cost only around $50-100.

The herbal bathe is like shower foam or you mix in pail and pour all over you ?

i think u suffer same fate as me. u need to apply moisturiser every shower, apply steroid. once controlled, reduce steriod frequently and moisturiser is a must. the itch scratch cycle will worsen. just need to bear w it.

the medical term is lichen simplex chronicus, go google.

Please tell me more about this. I'm syarting to get scared. Been having this for a month or so already. When it first happen i thought normal to scratch as I've always been doing it. After awhile it keeps coming back until now my balls start to smell damn bad and itch progressively becoming a vicious cycle.

How did you solve this issue or live through it?

Mix in pail and pour over myself. So you shower normally with water, without soap. Then you rinse with the tea. Supposed to be anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-dunno what else. Which I believe coz after a few days my pus dried up. And after a week my body was less itchy and had less rashes.

And to the guy who DM me, sorry I can't reply coz I have less than 10 post count. If you want can contact via whatsapp and I can share in detail. But basically no steroids at all. Was prescribed oral meds, 2 moisturizers (1 for day and 1 for night) and the herbal baths. Now I only use the moisturizers daily and the herbal baths on alternate days. Monthly cost around $250.
