You see so many bloggers, "thought leaders", talk about financial independence but say things like treating cpf as bond portfolio, but srsly when market crash, will they have the guts to invest or not?

last GFC, I overshot my CPF-OA stock limit, because it takes a few days to update the stock limit and I was buying everyday. End up broker call me and told me that my trade that went over the limit had to be split, half go to CPF-OA, half pay cash and go to CDP... but only need to pay one commission.

After I used up my CPF-OA, I used CPF-SA to buy First State Bridge :s13:

Interesting. I think I've seen some of the tables before, but probably never really registered them.

Observations:
- The 3 more aggressive portfolios probably give you the most bang for your buck because of the amount of trailer fees rebated. More than the 0.40 EndowUs is charging to manage your portfolio.

- The weighting however among the equities seems to underweigh Europe. The entire continent seems underrepresented, along with Japan.

- Slightly greater weights to EM and Asia Ex-Japan, but understandable if they argue that they are following DFA philosophy of looking for value.

Got a mail from Uobkayhian telling me that my first state dividend advantage units have been reinvested value dated 16 January 2020 at reinvestment price of $2.0487.

Anyone receive similar statements?

Hi, to start with endow does it mean must put lump sum 10K first? In this case won't the lump sum be against the DCA principal? Like your p&l is abit dependent on when u start the 10k lump sum?

I started with a smaller amount just to understand the trade flow haha. Then I quickly invested more so that more of my CPF invested.

I think they are not super stringent, but I have friend saying that after 2 months or so they will call you up and remind you if you don't hit 10k.
