I think better check with Cardup what MCC they used for specific type of payments.
I had checked with Ipaymy months ago & they use both MCC6513 & MCC7399.
I am still checking under what circumstance they use which code?

However from the description of MCC6513, real estate & rental, does sound that if u use the payment providers for rental payments, likely it is MCC6513 & that shall not be counted for rebate by UOB One from Mar 16th onwards.

I think other than rentals, tuition, insurance, taxes..etc should be using MCC7399 which is still not excluded by UOB One.

Best is to check with the payment providers.

Those planning to use cardup for first time use and amount at least $1000, try to get referral code which will give you $20 off the transaction fee.

The referral fee is given as a code. The 2.25% discounted fee also need to apply a code so can't use together ie fee would be 2.6% then less $20. If your payment is more than $1130, suggest you spilt into 2 payments. Eg if payment is $1500, pay $1000 and apply the referral code. Pay remaining $500 and apply the 2.25% code.

sorry can I ask (newbie about cardup):

if I get cardup to pay my insurance monthly premium, do I need to cancel the existing arrangement between the insurance company and the credit card company?

Anyone can pm referral code? So u will get $20 and I will get $20 if use the code to sign up? Can use for any kind of payment, i.e. rental, insurance or tax? Can use Amex or must use visa/master?

Yes. You get $20 off for first payment at cardup of at least $1000. The code is applied when you schedule the transaction, not at sign up. When you apply the code, the transaction fee should still show at 2.6%. It will only show the final transaction fee at the next screen (need to scroll right if you using handphone). Check properly before submitting.

Referrer also gets $20 off for next payment.

Should be able to use for any kind of payment cardup allows.

CardUp allows payment by Amex, Visa and Master. Btw this means Grabpay mastercard can also be used (digital and physical). But no Grab rewards for cardup.

I will leave it to others to refer so that they can benefit as I don't have anything to pay on cardup till next year.

Can stack new signup with GET225 code?

When actually go to setup your payment, you will see that can only enter one promo code per payment. You can split one payment amount into 2, one promo code for each if it is more than $1000 payment to use the new signup code and GET225.

Update, Ipaymy replied to me that they will amend the MCC to 7399 for rentals prior to Mar deadline for UOB One card. Very nice gesture from them to do this so that we can continue to use them to earn rebates.

Hi, would-be new user here, taking refuge from uob one card shake up. Looking for new way to pay insurance premium. Am comparing between cardup and ipaymy. Is there any major differences between the two? Thanks!

I’m on promo code every4free. Been trying to find t/c but URL no longer working.

Anyone know if I edit payment to change credit card used, does it void my
Promo code? Don’t know if I read that edits will affect the free 4th payment fee.
