Please tell me more about this. I'm syarting to get scared. Been having this for a month or so already. When it first happen i thought normal to scratch as I've always been doing it. After awhile it keeps coming back until now my balls start to smell damn bad and itch progressively becoming a vicious cycle.

How did you solve this issue or live through it?

Pharmacist advise to apply thin layer of steroid cream/lotion only on the affected spots (twice a day) as skin will thin out. Stop after problem eased. Steroid not use like Mopiko or Tiger Balm.

After 10mins, apply moisturizer over.

Frequent use of steroid will cause thinning of skin. Some do not have thumb prints after long term contact with steroids.

Good stuff can share openly.

Children can outgrow eczema.

Just as adults may get eczema later in life.

That is what Dr says and it makes sense.

exactly.

share openly and let the public judge for themselves. I will be very cautious of that post. Always seek a licensed medical practitioner for help:D

Have anyone tried the phototherapy at NSC before and how much does it cost for each session?
Can't remember how much it cost. I did one session, the itch because even worse after the session. I never went back for a second session, nor to NSC again.

I tot loratadine is an antihistamine, usually given for cold. So u take at night to reduce itch?

I used to take hydroxyzine that will knock you out and sleep through the night. Dr told me the rationale is simple ,reduce your itch -scratch cycle so that skin can heal . The reason why skin won't heal is because you scratch at night and break skin barrier .

Has anyone tried tangs medical clinic at Bugis cube?

Went there for the first time was given 4 tubes of cream and consultation cost me $90. Subsequent visits will cost quite a lot for the medicine plus was told that it will take a few years to fully recover

it's work but is not miracle fast. you need at least 6 months to 1 year then see effect. if u only see for 1, 2 months, then better don't go. i can't keep up with the cost eventually after 8 months.

$400+ per month is very chor.

for my case only medicine, cream doesn't help much.

I am on dupixent for the past year, the cost is around $1.4k a jab and I need to take 2 jabs per month.

Cost is fortunately covered by my company. The medication works wonder and I am not on any steroid creams/ oral medication. I just apply moisturisers twice a day and feel like a normal person otherwise.

End of the day, dupixent is still a suppressant and not a cure. It does come back if I go more than 2-3 weeks without the jabs. Once, my company stops covering it, I will be back to MTX more likely.

mtx no good for liver.. too much toxicity.

eventually the effectiveness wear off, like the body like automatically know how to build up resistance to resist the effects.
