The word sanitizer cringes me when I read it. :s13:

I would like to jump back to Samsung but their updates super super super super damn slow updates and linked to telco. But they got good hardware.
(Felt so betrayed when they abandon Galaxy S2 back then that I never bought any Samsung after. Forgot the details already but the grudge still there in my mind.)

Pixel got very very lower basic hardware with lots of lesser used (to me) gimmicks but fast updates.

Pixel 5...
I'll probably stick to 4 till 6 comes.

Midrange soc might be an alternative for some of those not willing to pay flagship pricing perhaps

:s11:

Ultra or pro variant for those still after flagship

:s11:

Mid-range SOC is what the a series are for.. Flagship phone, with flagship prices, using mid-range SOC is so fug up..

And how do u know there will be a Ultra variant

I would love to use a Galaxy S/Note again if they can only get Android updates on time and 3 year guaranteed Android update version + a year of security updates.

Pixel will never be as pretty as a Galaxy S/Note
Pixel's processor is old by the time of it's release
Snapdragon will never reach the levels of Apple's A processors

Pricing the Pixel along OnePlus levels would be a good move for Google

I've played with Android One devices and they're not bad...

So I guess Google can use a mid-range processor on the Pixel 5 and sell it slightly cheaper.
