Actually why can’t they just void this season but bring forward all the points earned of every club now to the start of next season? Does that solves all the headaches?

Actually this is a good idea, if a little unconventional. I don't see how the season can continue, at the rate things are going in Europe. The rescheduling is just a wait-and-see, in the unlikely event that things improve.

Why am I not surprised Spurs under JM is one of those who want to void the season? It will certainly help write off his miserable start at the club :s8:

he knows he took charge of them when in 14th place in Nov. not a full season.
top 4-5 still within reach like many others in front of him. hardly miserable.

They have nothing to play for except TOP 4 hardly great for Jose when he was brought in to take spurs to greater height than Poch.

it will take a miracle pill for a manager to come in mid seasion, team in 14th, to go greater heights than where Poch used to end.
but this kind of ridiculous expectation is usual coming from fans.

if given a full season and reasonable investment, can say its not acceptable.

I guess if this happens, Utd fan will be very happy :D

A leading sports lawyer believes that the Premier League season will have to be cancelled if it is unable to resume within the next few weeks.

Richard Cramer suggests that any further disruption to the football calendar would likely mean that the top-flight campaign is controversially scrapped.

Premier League clubs are set to hold an emergency meeting on Thursday to discuss their potential next steps, with the future of the sport in jeopardy amid the ongoing health crisis.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Cramer said: 'Forget the games going in the beginning of April, I think we should be alright.

'But if we go through to May or June then I think it's almost inevitable that, it's almost the equivalent of what happened in the world wars, the season just has to be cancelled.

'Then we start all over again, which is obviously devastating for the likes of Leeds United and West Brom, both those clubs are on the verge of promotion.

'It's not a great thought, but they'll just have to abide by what the majority say and what decision is made by the board of directors.'

Premier League need 14-club majority to void season and stop Liverpool winning title… but who would back the axe?

LIVERPOOL could be denied their first league title in 30 years if 14 Premier League clubs agree to axe the season.

The English top-flight has been suspended until April 4 at the earliest due to the global outbreak of coronavirus.

Premier League chiefs are set to hold an emergency meeting on Thursday to discuss plans for the end of the season.

As it stands, Jurgen Klopp's side sit 25 points clear of Manchester City at the top of the pile after 29 matches.

But Liverpool's fate could lie in the hands of the other 19 teams in the league.

Premier League chiefs could be forced to call on a majority decision if this season cannot be continued as planned.

For a rule to be imposed, the Evening Standard claim 14 of the 20 clubs in the league will have agree on a decision.

One option would be to end the season as it stands - which is an idea that will most certainly have Liverpool's support.

Another idea would be to host a play-off competition, while others have claimed the season should be void.

SunSport columnist Karren Brady insisted the Premier League season must be ruled null and void if the players cannot play again.

Biggest question is, should United be for or against the vote to void the season? We could potentially get into a CL spot, but if it's void, we'll have to play EL again next season (if and when it restarts). Am pretty sure mid-tablers and those in the bottom 5 spots wouldn't mind voiding, since it means they get to stay. So it really boils down to the few of the clubs chasing the 4th (or 5th spot assuming City's ban is upheld).

Season sure void one la or based on current table.

The only solution for Liverpool is Fa may try out some closed door matches for a few weeks to let Liverpool win the title outright. Imagine if Liverpool lost their next 2 games...

"Jose Mourinho has the worst win record of any Tottenham manager in the past 12 years.

Mourinho’s current record has him as far down as Spurs’ eighth best boss in the Premier League era. With a 44% win ratio, Mourinho is behind predecessor Mauricio Pochettino (55.2%), Tim Sherwood (50%), Harry Redknapp (49.49%) and fellow compatriot Andre Villas-Boas (55%).

In Mourinho's 25 games in charge at Tottenham, 35 goals have been conceded, at an average of 1.4 per game, with ten other Spurs managers in the Premier League era faring better in terms of defensive record."

Plus Chelsea doing the league double, first time it's happened to him.

I'd say that's a pretty bad record he'll wish to wipe off.

Mourinho's man management methods don't suit strawberry generation of footballers... and it is unlikely that he can change himself.

I truly believe Mourinho will be fine next season
with the amount of injuries spurs has, any manager on earth would struggle
heard one of the stats was, spurs has only lost 2 games that both kane and son played in
