I think its just packaging difference from now on. The older realtek version is probably replaced by the new qcc3020 aptx version for all new sets.
Only $3x and equipped with QCC3020. That's really insane!!

BTW, I saw anker soundcore liberty air 2 @ $139 on Qoo10 after coupon discount. Is it worth getting? Any chance to get it at a lower price?

Its really competitive now in the true wireless earbuds market. This competition only benefits us as consumers, as we get better and better stuff at a lower price point.

The anker soundcore liberty air 2 seems to be a good buy. It has good reviews, but not sure if u can get a lower price than $139.

However, if you had already bought truedots as your basic, entry level tws, I suggest you to wait. This year is going to be interesting. Its very possible to get an ANC equipped tws with good sound at below $200.

In fact, one of them is already here:

Expect more to come as competition heats up.:s12:

Using Galaxy Buds currently. I am looking at Anker soundcore liberty air 2 as I need a good pair of TWS earbuds for phone call/video call. Most of the TWS earbuds are good in music and poor in calls. Tried out both Buds+ and Jabra 75T and the mic performance are just average.

Yeah. Most people had over-emphasize on sound quality and not consider the total package for real world usage. That's why I am still waiting before I open up my wallet for another premium priced earpiece that actually delivers the quality and value of the price they are charging.

Frankly speaking, Samsung is falling out of the competition as their galaxy buds+ offer nothing above the current competition. Even with their triple mic setup, call quality is still mediocre.

Both Galaxy Buds+ and 75T are suffering from the same issue (poor call quality). The 3rd mic on the Buds+ did help to increse the sound sensitivity however, it's still limited. Jabra on the other hand is still using the old tech (master slave tech instaed of TWS+) which is kind of dissapointing.

I see in YT, all reviewers are praising buds+ for its call quality. was super close to biting the bullet liao, cos now i'm on the phone quite alot.

too bad SG dont have refund policy. If not i would have at least bought it to try.

Wah. They legit sell 79.90 sia. LOL. At that price not worth it Liao esepcially with haylou gt1 plus around.

wah

Lol. Now maybe qoo10 soundpeats is going to have increase in number of orders.

I settled down in this for the rest of the year already. (which cost lower than $79.90:s13:)
My next upgrade will probably be a good 2nd gen ANC tws (definitely not the 1st gen in the market now).

This Fiil t1x is too under-marketed and under-rated. Too bad I cannot recommend this as a general earpiece for everyone due to the fit. I don't think ladies and people with smaller ears can get a good fit at all.

Its like the first priority of this manufacturer is to seal up your ears. The eartips provided are larger than normal. Even the real estate of the earbuds is larger.

But once the fit is there, the amount of sound/call quality, features and passive noise blocking definitely belongs to a earpiece of the $100-$200 price bracket, even though it can be bought for under $100.

I'm getting good call quality from my buds+.. all my callers can hear me loud and clear even when I'm in front of a blowing fan. This is my personal experiences.

This video is pretty interesting. It does not give any opinion on call quality, but it compares a number of choices we are interested at.

Ask you all for recommendations. I am looking for cheap cheap Bluetooth earphones

  • $30-$40
  • true wireless. Switch between left and right side instantly with no lags
  • can control volume on the earphone

What options are there?

I think the only earpiece which meets the budget is Soundpeats truedots. But I won't say it switches left/right with no lag.

Its on using tws+ structure and connects to your device 2 times (ie, you will see 2 devices on your bluetooth setting).

Whatever you encounter on sabbat e12 ultra, you will encounter in truedots.

If your budget is slightly higher, I would have recommend Fill T1x ($60+ from taobao, around same size as sabbat e12 ultra, but thicker and protrudes a bit out from your ear). Although its not running on qualcomm tws+, its double master setup is absolutely seemless.
