Excuse me what the ****?

I was saying there are people who looks for wireless earbuds instead of in ears that's why brands still produce them?
E.g. not liking the feeling of inserting the earphones, the blocking feeling, ease of removal, want to hear surrounding etc etc.

Why you gotta come in thread and be a dick?
You think ** means come online and be ******?

Oh, that’s what you meant, Mr ‘oldie'. You can be more clear, you know.

‘Earbuds’ or ‘wireless earbuds’ is describing BOTH the in-ear types of earbuds like galaxy buds and what we called ‘on-ear’ or ‘half in-ear’ or some called it ‘open ear’ type of earbuds like the classic AirPods. Its more related now to the in-ear types since popular brands like samsung call their galaxy buds ‘earbuds’.

Initially, your post made no sense, like saying 'there is a bunch of peeps who looks for in-earbuds instead of in ears’. I referenced to Alex’s post earlier in referring classic AirPods-like devices as half 'in-ear'. So I came with the conclusion that you are trying to say 'there is a bunch of peeps who looks for earbuds (galaxy buds type) instead of in ears (airpods type), and think you are trying to restrict or ‘moderate’ the contents of discussions to only the galaxy buds in-ear type, based on your previous posts.

Which is why I went defensive and states I am not out of point, since even bone conduit ones and outlier ones are allowed in this thread.

I do apologise if I took your unclear statement the wrong way.

Lol. Perhaps, my statement hits home hard that you started all those personal attacks.

You had previously posted things like 'Well done for being able to Google questions’, 'Thanks for reviving thread from may 2019' and oh 'You do not need to quote the entire text to ask a question' in this section of the forum, which deep down, makes me think ‘is this guy a moderator or what’. And that’s why I came up with my post.

God dang newbies coming into threads like everyone owe them a living

Anyway, I seriously don’t think I had acted in anyway that causes people to think everyone owes me a living. And Lol, what defines a ‘newbie’ and ‘oldie’? Post count? Join date? And what does being new or old has to do with thread discussions?

Just for your info, I had been reading this forum way before 2006 (your join date) and did not wish to create an account to start posting until much later.

Your post already discloses your mental level and frankly speaking, you belong to those I don’t wish to associate with. Any further digging on will only end up with a childish, pointless drama that is totally unconstructive to the readers of this thread.

Anyway, I do apologise for making u act this way. Hope this closes.

PS: Sorry for the long post guys. Just feel that I need to explain to this guy before he goes bonkers and start a longer drama.:s13:

ah, but if that's the case even the realtek chip will still have a bit of lag for it to reconnect though. :s13: So not much difference there. will probably have to wait till the next generation of QCC chips to hit the market already. :s13: I haven't used anything with Airoha's chipset yet, but it think they have a chip that supports seamless switching too, and might be the one that FIIL T1X is using? According to Remless, their solution seems to work better. :s13:

By the way, dug around a little about the chip the T4 seems to be using the PAU 1603.

https://www.pixart.com/products-detail/tw/96/PAU1603FB-S1

It mentions direct connect to both earbuds, and fast switching. so we'll see how well that works. also, here's hoping the app really allows 10-band EQ adjustment rather than just presets, and more importantly it will be saved to the earbuds themselves. For me I use poweramp on android, so EQ isn't an issue, but for iOS.........

Yeah, probably different implementation by manufacturers also has an impact on the seamless connection.

Btw, regarding your concern about EQ settings being saved on earbuds and is able to affect the sound on IOS, I think it should, else it kinda defeats the purpose of developing a EQ for the earbuds.

But there is something that I found out recently that I can do with my FIIL+ app, that you can try with the T4 app.

I can connect my fiil t1x to a device, and use my phone (with the fiil+ app on) to change the sound that is coming from the device I connected to.

ie, I can connect my t1x to my macbook via bluetooth, and fiil+ app is still able to connect to the earbuds (without it being connected to my phone), and change the sound coming from the macbook to the earbuds via FIIL+ app's EQ on-the-fly.

I am not sure if all customized apps for earbuds work this way, but its worth a try.

So am i right to assume most (not all) earphones with chips (QQC / realtek) will face this master slave lag issue? Btw, Alex. Do you think QCY T4 app customisation will have good chance to be able to customise in the volume control? There are very little information online now. Do share with us again when your review is ready ok. ;)
Btw, I just saw on aliexpress. T4 has T4 TWS and T4 mini??? huh

Btw, anyone used Whizzer TP1 before? I saw it on youtube. I think the black/gold looks quite cool lor. The not many reviews seem ok. But seem uncommon pair

hoping so lor. but best is still if out of the box the tuning already spot on for my taste. :s13: Will try that if i get it. hahaha. now still don't know where.

I think so? to be honest so many TWS earbuds in the market right now. haha. maybe there will be something out there that can really do seamless switching with no pause at all. haha.
For QCY T4 is most likely will have. I saw a korean guy hands on with the earbuds and the app and the option is there.

I searched QCY T4 on aliexpress and i think it's the same thing? Sometimes some seller just add some weird terms to the product for no reason. lol.

for the whizzer i think it's an older model already? heard about it quite some time ago. but don't really like the stem design. haha

This true wireless implementation is very varied, especially in Android world. Sony phones can support Qualcomm tws+ where you can actually see the battery of the 2 earbuds and no lag when switching off any of the earbuds. While Samsung doesn't support tws+ in any way, even if the earbuds support it. Sony and Samsung earbuds doesn't have any lag when shutting down either earbud, no matter the phone model. While airpods can move all the sound from the shut down earbud to the active earbud so that the sound from the shut down earbud won't be missing. Lots of permutations out there. :o

I am using Sabbat E12 Ultra on Pocophone F1. I do face the lags. I also tried to pair my E12 Ultra to my Sony NW-A35, same disconnection lag issue. I believe once I see the phone/DAP detects the earphones as 2 devices, then its more or less certain will have this disconnection lag issue...:s11:

Depends. Samsung phones also see 2 earphones (L and R), Sony phones also see 2. But the way they connect is very different. Samsung connects in master slave, while Sony connects to both at the same time.

Dear Bros & Sis,

I have a Jabra 65T but use it mainly for phonecalls, would like to seek the suggestions of the users in this chat which would be the best wireless bluetooth to recommend.

Base on my conditions below:
1) able to seamlessly like 65T connect to 2 devices at any one time and to jump from 1phone call on Phone A to another phone call on Phone B seamlessly.
2) Able to block out the surrounding noise when I am talking on the phone as my current Jabra 65T picks up the surrounding noise clearer than my voice.

Hope to be able to get 1 good True Wireless BT earpiece that is able to block out the outside noise when I am talking on the phone and that my other party is only able to hear my voice only.

Thanks all.

Tough requirement....

This is essentially multipoint technology (ability to connect to 2 devices at the same time) and Jabra is the most well-known earbuds to have this. You may want to google for 'multipoint'. I don't think many earbuds support this.

There are some chinese earbuds that support this in a certain extent (ie, left earbud connect to device A while right earbud connect to device B), but their call quality is not confirmed to be good.

Probably not. haha. this feature seems to be from the new chipset. For now only T4 and T5S.

If T5S sounds like T5, that could be a really good option too actually. the sound quality and tonality of that is pretty good too. :s13: Just saw that it's 120 yuan on jd.com now, so around S$24. Price is still insanely competitive.

wah. But T4 unknown is the sound quality only since it's a new model. T5s at least can maybe guess will be similar to T5. haha. but now shipping also taking very long. i ordered from aliexpress march 29th, package not even in SG yet. Was $28 or $29 i think then used new user coupon got it down to like $24. Is it cheaper on taobao? Don't really use it. haha.

Are you using a Samsung phone with android version above 8?
If you are, the new galaxy buds+ does have multi-point connection.

Thanks Remless for the reply. Am looking around for a good reliable ear piece and not willing to believe what websites say about their ear piece, therefore to seek the forum's bros n sis advice.

Thanks again.
