Talking about selling it to his friend, recently saw that he posted a pic about what 99% when they’re having a yatch party with bunch of people (probably his friend), then 1 of his recent post saw him mentioning ‘don’t forget about the 1%’. I think the 1% is referring to unknown people, so yeah so many unknown people lick his balls then only 1% are able to get. Lol

i put for a explorer 2 for a year, no call.
they ask me to write my details on their interest form.
ask me for FB, i am not on that group so i say i don't have FB.

guess where the paper go? lol no prizes for guessing it right

it's disgusting that Max keep playing god and choose people to sell his goods to. and many times, it's friend's friend. Ok, maybe once in awhile, he gives it to 1 unknown person - but that person 100% inside the group. of course, the requirement is to write a script to thank Max for his blessings in exchange for the sale of the watch.

then when others try to say Hour Glass, Cortina, Grey dealers - will kena say by others.

i guess Max is relatively new to FB so the only marketing tool he knows is getting other middle age uncle and aunties to write review for them - not even honest review, just straight up licking his balls.

most of his own facebook post doesn't even make sense

What is wrong with ppl sharing their negatives experiences when you exaggerate/created a positive one? Yours is righting a wrong and theirs sour grapes?

I had firsthand experience of them being really condescending. They don't even bother replying/attending to me once it's clear I won't "worship" them.

Hope rolex gets wind of all these practices. It brings the brand down

lol im new to the watch scene (only this yr) i was surprise also at how "unnatural" those posts are, a normal person wouldnt write something like that lol.

Judging from the lengths they go all out to craft that kinda super por lp post. its seems like inner circle play to me la..aiya i think this kind is SME play.. those old generation towkay's method way for cheap word of mouth advertising and relationship game..well, look at it another way.. they are not like big chains and cant compete with their advertising budget then ask their uncle friends to "help", you know la , uncles not so tech savvy.. duno how to curate a more convincing and natural sounding internet ******** like what millennial can do these day so it smells like ********e to us right away hahahah, so bloody obvious.

all these nonsense and grey market premiums actually make me a lil turn off to the rolex play and limited value hunting esp the crazy hype in the last 4-5years ( i too came in due to the hype), makes ones wonder you if really know what you really like abt the watch or its just for the wow and face factor.

Some people say wahh i love this watch ,been waiting to land their hand on 1 since baselworld 16 bla bla, but they know little of the technical details, history, difference of width at lugs and clasp etc, but know everything abt the hype.. its becomes some sorta like a investment and value holding angle ( no saying it is wrong , but you can identify a real watch lover, or a hype lover rightaway)

32k for a white daytonaC hmm.no way man..big premium above rrp is quite a turnoff, i rather walk away, i had actually started to explore more of other brands and their innate qualities and history, many times i feel rolex is still a lil mass market, just that it very well marketed (see how rolex turned a failed lemond that didnt make it to the moon into the most desired models of all times) .

you see them rolexs everywhere on the street very much desired by the average joe on the street, but most of the times it just gives you an " oh its a rolex, i know what it is, seen plenty of them around, got 4 friends owning that model (for mainstream SS sport models)

just sayin and hope to learn more from you guys here

My only comment is that no matter how "dream" a watch is I will never PLP. Even if we give benefit of the doubt to the AD and say he never ask for it, the fact is that he also never stop it also.

Just think about it, if you are new at a workplace, the boss say that he will promote people randomly, but you see a lot of people PLP you also figure it out also la.
