Etiqa’s ELASTIQ and SAVE3?

Looks like policy pal gives better cash rebate for referral program. Anyone has the referral code or link? How does it work?

Etiqa direct can be better if u need to buy other insurance products as they will give you a credit reward of 0.5% of the premium. So if it’s 50k, that’s $250 credit can use for car insurance etc. but if you want actual cash, policy pal is better

hello. can I check with those who've joined... is your name reflected in the correct order as per your NRIC/passport?

for mine, they published it as (first name) (last name) so instead of Tan Ah Kow they put it as Ah Kow Tan. is yours the same? did you all try to change it with them?

I've been asking them to update the policy documents but they said they can't generate again even thought they have "amended the name under our system". can trust them or not? why cannot regenerate the policy document?

thing is, the WhatsApp team will ask you to send a (secured) message via TiqConnect to get them (the TiqConnect team?) to follow up.

the WhatsApp team don't have the ability to fix such things. they can only help you to escalate the matter, to hasten the process.

on another note, is it true this 'account' is protected up to $70k by SDIC?

I do not have any policy with Etiqa now. Singlife has the same thing as Etiqa and below is what Singlife said on the "mismatched" name. Not sure if this would help.


Singlife: Yes. It's just for the system is captured your name mismatched. Your name is recorded with your NRIC, any claims in the future we will follow by the account name referring to NRIC.
Singlife: It shouldn't be an issue as the system has your recorded NRIC.

i just applied via PolicyPal ... I noticed that the PP application process, the default name format is "Ah Kow TAN" ... I manually changed it to TAN Ah Kow.

My Etiqa policy docs show the correct format ... anyways, i dont think it is a big issue since NRIC is on record too

i would think is better than singlife if you need to deploy more than 10k.
interest accrued daily, credited monthly
lock in 90 days then can withdraw when you want via paynow/FAST

after completing application, u will get an email from PolicyPal to make payment to a OCBC account (payee = PolicyPal)

after payment, u will get email from Etiqa with your policy documents and separate email to activate Etiqa online access.

You will see your docs via Etiqa online

for me, everything was completed within 1 hour after application via PolicyPal
