1) Yes, I went to set up alternative Face ID and had to re log in for all apps. Including other banks. I’m a BOC user for at least 3 years already and from the old shitty app to this new one

2) as in I can use the desktop to log in no issues. The mobile app with the same user and password can’t work

3) got such thing as different meh? Isn’t it same ?

4) nothing works anymore. Even if you click finger ID / FACE ID they require you to log in again

Keep promoting wrong user name and password. How the hell the username and password can be wrong when using the desktop works completely fine

yes can set username/password for mobile app via ibanking. Maybe check if it has been reset with the face id update.

How did u guys compute this?
1.45% & 1.25% for spend 1.5k, Salary & bills?

https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/xnGfRBahuiGz804l8HgWEg
I see that there is an Extra Savings Bonus Interest of 0.4% if fulfill any of the criteria.
So if spend 1.5K, salary >6k & bills payment, will it be as such?
0.5+0.5+0.3 = 1.3%
Add the Extra Savings Bonus Interest of 0.4%, that shall be 1.7%.
Include the prevailing interest of between 0.1 to 0.15%, so it should be ~1.8% for 80K deposit, correct?

wrong. Already did the detailed calculation in the previous posts.

With effect from 1st Aug $80k
base 0.15%
Salary min $6000 0.5%,
Card spend min $1500 0.5%
Payment 0.3%
Total 1.45%

Extra saving bonus only applies to saving amount on top of $80k, and not the first $80k savings.

So did BOC explain the reason for the less interest?

To follow-up on this, BOC called back to inform me on my eligible transaction amount. End up is my online payment to Geneco for electricity bill posted within Jun was not counted as an eligible transaction. Will need to check back with BOC on why this is so. This was my first time using BOC credit card to pay Geneco.

Anyone else with similar bad experience with Geneco online bill payment and BOC?

are you saying you used the card for bill payment... and thought it is included under card spend?

sounds like double-count for bonus interests...?

Not sure what u mean. It is not bill payment via BOC online banking. It is paid by BOC Family card (VISA) on Geneco website.

BOC just told you the amount, then you calculated and found they excluded Geneco payment amount?
Since you are checking with BOC, pls ask Geneco MCC code. Low chance due to MCC problem but good to know it.

Strange, did they explain why?
I made an online payment to GENECO with BOC debit card earlier this month,
I called just now and they told me this payment is considered eligible spend for BOC smart saver spend bonus interest.

If I charge $100 to BOC Family card and $400 to BOC Zaobao Unionpay card, considered as meeting the $500 card spend for BOC smartsaver right ?

Also what are the options for paying BOC Zaobao Unionpay card bill ? Can it be paid by AXS ?

Do u mean mAXS, the mobile app? I can't pay in app since last month. Called AXS still no improvement. Can pay with website eAXS.

I used AXS mobile app successfully to pay for my credit card bill using BOC debit card on 8 and 9 Jul.

Did you saved your debit card in AXS ? Maybe try to delete and save again.
