My funds allocation from now till end of Aug'20 ...

BANK ------------------------ S$ ---------- % p.a. --- est. S$/MTH
DBS (income+2 cat) -------- 50,000 -------- 3.5 ------- 145.83
SingLife ---------------------- 10,000 -------- 2.5 ------- 20.83
BOC -------------------------- 60,000 -------- 1.95 ------ 97.50
UOB -------------------------- 75,000 -------- 1.8 ------- 112.50
RHB -------------------------- 100,000 ------- 1.375 ---- 114.58
BOC (>60K) ----------------- 177,700 ------- 1 --------- 148.08
SingLife (>10K) ------------- 90,000 -------- 1 --------- 75.00

TOTAL ------------------------ 562,700 ------------------ 714.33

At least 50% of the BOC and Singlife should be reinvested in index funds like S&P or IWDA......

I think DBS (income+2 cat) 3.5% is revised down to 2.8%.

I think BOC (>60K) 1% is revised down to 0.6%.

I hope other posters can check and confirm the updated interest rates.

The revision is effective 1Aug'20.
July still old rates.

if you are hitting more than 30K in terms of total monthly transactions for DBS multiplier, what is preventing u from getting one more category and hitting 3.8% for the next 50K.

the BOC and singlife both at 1% definitely can be put to better use.

I'm not sure how flexible is the insurance category. If they drop the rates, premiums may exceed interest making it not worthwhile, and how fast can we cancel the policy..too tired to find out so didnt go for insurance.

Am waiting for a market crash too, do you feel there's a high chance it will crash this year?

Market just crashed hard in March, like someone above said. If there's another crash, it's not gonna be covid-19 related, so it's very unlikely.
