I had him for both my Tea Session and my Panel.

He was definitely more aggro in the tea session. But with reason. He wanted to make sure that participants knew why they wanted to join the force. And not the "because I like to help" answer". And he will call you out on it if he thinks you are bs-ing. But he did explain his reasoning for asking questions the way he did at the end of my session.

Yes. if you are bs-ing, he will definitely know. but I think he was trying to understand whether you really know what you are signing up for as for mine, he kept explaining that there is high turnover rate and why am I certain about it. I guess ours should be the same guy.

He might sound aggressive towards me but I believe he wanted to know whether I am suitable candidate for this job. it was overall a good experience.

For girls who are attending DEI tea session, don't think just because you are girl then He won't be aggressive towards you. He is really firm and fair to all candidates which is good.

Not just the rank but his appt quite high is AD for Recruitment
He takes his role seriously because like what ester and Abyssal said, he gives no chance if you tryna smoke your way in

which is why I advise people to not say "I like the job" when they have not even experienced in policing

Not only high ranked lol. He is like the AD for recruitment. He is a nice guy for sure but for girls who are expecting to receive some gender difference treatment like since I am a girl, I can smoke my way through.

It is not gonna happen and you need to be sure what you are signing up for. For my situation, I was quite persistent and he was continuing trying to convince me like with the what-if qns. but I didn't give in to him cause I was quite certain of my views so I don't know what is the results for me. but he was such person. FYI, mine was just a tea session.

For panel interview, there is even higher ranking officer or similar position officer like him who is going to attack you like a gun machine and see your reaction. so yeah. you need to be sure of it and not end up backing out just because you are scared.

Girls who decided to sign on has their reasons I believe. Be it male or female, you need to be sure of what you want and wish to achieve.

there should be a 24 hr time limit to send your Annex A. After a few days they will get back to you for the SA interview.
