Hi so now use credit card top up grab no more rebates.. but still can use grabpay mastercard to pay for insurance right... at least can earn grabpoints.....

GrabPay card earns no points for SimplyGo. And MasterCard only triggers about once a week or when hit a certain min value ($15 if I'm not wrong), so SamsungPay points don't trigger often.

It works, but not much benefit except for benefits for topping up GrabPay (if any)

Got Grab Points mah. Works out to be 0.8%

Platinum 4x points.

2500 points = $5 voucher on average

$625 spent = $5 voucher = 0.8%

Grab doesn't give any reward points for insurance payments. The only real use left for this is to make payments at places that don't accept card, only cash or Grabpay. Or if you have an AMEX true cashback card to top it up with, that'll work too, until someday Grab blocks that as well.

There is a card that still gives cashback for topping up for now. Not bad lah at least can get a hundred or so back for paying my insurance.

I honestly not attracted by the Grab points given for spending on the card as my usage at hawkers that actually have the QR code to scan is rather low.
