What tool to draw using PC

Hello,

Does anyone knows a better tool than mouse to draw sketches on PC?
I find using mouse very clumsy. I heard teachers have some tools to draw sketches like using markers on whiteboard.

What are they called?

Pen tablets? The 'branded' one would be Wacom, but alt 'budget' brands like Huion and XP-PEN have really improved their offerings.

Depends on your requirement.
Low End use normal Andriod Tablet can liao.

High End for Graphical Design then look into Wacom Tablet.

Or use a Touchscreen.

But yeah, Wacom is the default choice, also for photoshop use

Special apps only needed if you want the specialist illustration and painting tools for more detailed/complex types of strokes/effects.

For normal sketch/notetaking, in general, you can think of it as a mouse but in pen form factor. No different from using a stylus on a tablet. Some people find that it's better for their wrist but it takes time to get used to it. So you can use it with the same app that you're currently using with the mouse, as long as it has a pencil/freehand drawing tool inside.

I found 2 that I am consider about.


Huion H420 (With 2,048 level of pressure)

About $29 on Lazada.



Huion H640 (With 8,192 level of pressure)

This reviewer apparently tested the H420 before too and he gave it a 7/10. But for the H640, he gave a 9/10.



About $54 on Lazada


I probably will get the H420 and play with it and let my daughter try it. If she get serious, then get the H640.

My teen daughter loves to draw, and she always bug me for the Samsung Note 9 with the S Pen stylus to draw...

Yah. Wacom is the go for especially for those professionals with budget.

So it depends on the budget.

The Huion ones fit my budget and from review, I will get one to test.
