Tried oppp A12(4+64) and realme c11 (3+32) recently, both cannot play 1080p YouTube. Max only 720p. And if vertical YouTube focus videos can only play 480p. Like that not maximizing the big screen.

Can redmi 8 or 9a/9c play 1080p YouTube? Or download more than 720p videos?

Can try ITZY not shy videos:

Remind of my iPad 1. Can only play 720 videos.

Is already by seller on online platform

Tks. Officially launched in Msia but not in Sg. G80 soc Antutu close to 200k, beats SD660 on RMNote7 @ 155k. No issue to drive Pubg & cod. If the 4/64 is below $200, a compelling alternative to Note9 series.

Not sure how much never take notice. Different sellers different prices. Some sellers sell at higher price some sellers sell at lower price. You have to go to the online shopping apps to compare the price.

Many sellers 4/64 @ $188. A new model, most buyers' reviews less than a month, so don expect price drop on 9.9.

Decided not to use this redmi 9A phone for gaming because this phone is only 2gb ram not a gaming phone. I will use this redmi 9A phone for the internet browsing, YouTube, Facebooking, Instagram, shopping and makan apps. No gaming because this phone is not suitable for gaming as the ram 2gb only.

How much ram and rom you left when you start to use the phone. Eg I tried realme c11 (3+32), the rom alr less 15gb.

Ram about 800 plus to 900mb plus. Storage after install of apps left 18gb plus. I have uninstalled and disabled many useless apps.

Just now go Xiaomi website and check the ROM enter the IMEI number and find out that my phone is international global ROM and not China ROM. How come I spend $99 can get global ROM as I thought global ROM more expensive than China ROM

Battery life not so good after the 2bd update yesterday. Maybe need to give the phone few days to stabilise the battery from last updated

The auto brightness for this redmi 9A sucks drain battery one. Inside the room not outdoor bright sunlight brightness level already 3/4 full. My sot is 5 hours 80% battery left using manual brightness and when use auto brightness sot only 3 hours 30 minutes at 80%

Feedback after the 2nd update 1-2 week ago. First 1% take 20-35 minutes to drain when surfing internet using 4g mobile data and after that the following 1% take 15-19 minutes to drain. Do note the phone do drain battery when you put it on standby mode and do not use your phone as the chipset use in this phone is not as good as Snapdragon because Snapdragon phone wouldn't drain much if you put on standby mode. Screen on time will not be so good when you put your phone on standby and do not use it, you have to keep using the phone to get good sot. But ok lah got 1000 full charge cycles for a $99 phone while others phones only 300 full charge cycles. Overall good enough for a low end phone.

Not much difference between 4g mobile data and WiFi. 4g mobile data at 80% is 5 hours 30 minutes while WiFi at 80% is 6 hours 30 minutes.

Xiaomi may rebrand the international Redmi 9C as Redmi 9 and POCO C3 in India

owards the end of last month, we found evidence that Xiaomi was planning to rebrand the Redmi 9C as the POCO C3 for the Indian market. The upcoming POCO C3 was spotted in a Bluetooth certification listing with the model number M2006C3MI, which is precisely the same as the model number for the budget-friendly Redmi 9C. Now, leaked renders of the upcoming Redmi 9 (Indian variant) have surfaced online, suggesting that it’s also based on the same device.

The leaked renders of the Redmi 9 were shared by leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414) and they reveal that the Indian variant of the Redmi 9 looks nothing like the Redmi 9 international variant that was launched earlier this year in June. The device in the renders closely resembles the Redmi 9C, with a square camera module and a capacitive fingerprint scanner on the back. However, there’s one well-concealed difference.

Okay so here are the official press renders & full specs of the Redmi 9 (India)
-6.53″ LCD, HD+ w/ 720×1600 pixels res.
-MediaTek Helio G35
-13MP (f/2.2) + 2MP (f/2.4) Depth
-5MP (f/2.2)
-5000mAh w/ 10W
-Dual SIM, dedicated microSD (up to 512GB), microUSB, 3.5mm jack#Redmi9 pic.twitter.com/MFLHGqYhqq

At first glance, you’ll notice that the Xiaomi Redmi 9 renders showcase a device with a triple camera setup, much like the Redmi 9C. However, on close inspection, you’ll see that one of the three camera sensors on the back of the device is just a blank space. This means that the Indian variant of the Redmi 9 won’t feature the same triple camera setup found on the Redmi 9C. This detail has been corroborated by another renowned leaker, Ishaan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24), who noted that the renders of the Redmi 9 India variant are that of the Redmi 9C NFC variant that was launched in Europe earlier this year, except for the missing third camera sensor.

The renders of the Redmi 9 India variant going around are of the Redmi 9C NFC Variant that has already been released in the Europe. But yeah, that is indeed how the Smartphone looks, lacks the third camera sensor. #Redmi9 pic.twitter.com/0bBEsjQtwc
