You can reboot your phone. There might be some power-intensive apps running. If not, it is time to change your battery.
Just receive the 9.1.0.275 update on Mate9

Hi, need recommendation here. My Mate 9 screen is cracked and phone is still under warranty till this Oct 2020. Shd I change at Huawei center or go mobile shop replace crack screen? If change at outside, the warranty void? Thanks
Anyone still using mate 9? This phone is still going strong for me but hand itchy, feels like upgrading. But I would want a phone with GMS. Has anyone upgraded to p30 plus and how does it compare?
I don't like xiaomi, hate their miui. Samsung too much extra apps. Used to love LG but their service is meh.
Just buy an used set from carousell for around 500, still same huawei emui system, nothing special.
"it just works and doesn't lag" definitely a good upgrade for you too in terms of speed/storage/camera. Only flip side I foresee is the curved screen and the in screen fingerprint.
I have a mate 9 too and tried out p30 Pro but decided to stick with either mate 20 or 20x with the physical fingerprint sensor cause I'm using privacy screen protectors which do not work well with in screen fingerprint sensors.
However, p30 Pro is pure beast mode.

Thank you for the insight! I was also looking at mate 20. Mate 20x may be a bit too bit for my liking. Afraid I may drop it.
Main diff between 20 and 20x is the screen size, camera and 20x is using oled which gives you always on display. Can consider mate 20 Pro too.
All these phones are value for $$ now and most of them should have at least few months of warranty left.

Yes, I heard we can always go and get the battery replaced at Huawei right, if it is a problem.
Advisable to replace the battery just before the end of ur 2yrs warranty if u intend to continue using the phone.
