Did bladeless lasik at EEC last Friday at the Royal Square Novena branch. Arrived at 10am for the pre-assessment - went through a few painless checks, talked to the counsellor (who will answer all your questions and explain the procedure), saw Dr Julien Theng who was very assuring. Think he mentioned something about having done 20,000 pairs(?) of eyes including his children's. Made payment close to 2pm..a big part of the 4 hours was spent waiting actually.
Told to return at 5pm to prep for surgery at 6pm. Time will fly by because of those nerves

Actual procedure is really quick. First machine (which creates the flap) causes abit of discomfort. No pain, just strong pressure on the eye which lasts about 30s. Dr will then sweep the flap open and use laser to correct your vision. Totally no feeling during these steps.
Eyes were abit sensitive right after. For me its similar to when its irritated by smoke. After a 3hrs nap its back to normal again..with around 80% vision at this point. Went back next day to remove bandage lens and vision got to about 90%.
Went back to work on day 3, not much issues other than the usual dry eyes. Just use the various eye drops conscientiously and things should be fine. Enjoying the (more or less) clear vision so far
Paid $3554 nett after referral discount (excluding follow up reviews). Would recommend anyone considering lasik to just go for it. Wanted to go with Shinagawa initially. Cleared the pre-assessment but unfortunately on the scheduled day of surgery, eyes were overly dry and not in good condition. Dr Lee suggested using eye drops daily and return for a review after 2 weeks. They don't offer same day surgery though, so I ended up going with EEC.
Frankly, I think the environment and service is better at Shinagawa. Much lesser waiting time and more personalised service. 1 optician follows you through all checks whereas at EEC, every check is done by different people and it feels more like a production line. However in terms of surgical skills, to me both Dr Lee and Dr Theng are more than qualified and will complete the surgery successfully.
