punch hole easy to get used to. you can barely see the hole and pretend it doesn’t exist. pop up can have more display area but mechanical durability is a concern

this is already on pixel 5. but only the top speaker. bottom is still down firing.

the glass/display is now the sound radiating surface.

That's the reason it sounds more muffled as compared to p4a5g. the speaker grille will channel out a better, clearer sound

Off topic: notice the p4a5g got a bigger chin. p5 is symmetrical
