No interest in the iPhone 12 mini? Thought it's nice to have a compact flagship for a change and hope more companies follow this route

Apple clever to kill 11 immediately. They know there is not much difference.

But just wait for news outlet blowing how significant new 12 features are, funded by Apple marketing.

In reality, maybe techies knows best. Not even a USB C port adoption.

Apple always kill the previous Pro model once new models are launch. Nothing different this year.

USB C will never come to iPhone. They’ll move to portless next. MagSafe is a first step to portless iPhone.

The camera on the 12 Pro is using the same sensor and what-so as iphone 11 Pro. Only diff is F stop, 1.6 vs 1.8 on the 11 Pro and of cos all 12 pro have Lidar to help.

Only 12 Pro Max have a bigger sensor, but that is only on the WIDE angle lens.

Front camera both 12 pro and 11 pro are the same, but 12 pro can do more, another apple limitation for older iphone.

Don’t forget about the new ISP and the neural engine which have a huge impact in photo processing.

Pro Max also has in-built stabilization directly on the sensor.

Pro Max use sensor-shift OIS, like the bigger sensor, are only available on the wide angle. The rest are the same. Of cos, i would believe with the lidar does help in having night mode on the ultra wide.

All in all, i believe with the current 11 pro, they are able to do that, just that it's a marketing decision not to, esp for the front camera.

The 12 pro max is still the phone to get if you want the best camera iphone.

If I am not wrong, they will charge some money if you buy from them without contract. Why not buy direct from Apple?

Initially (prior to event) wanted 12 pro. But having seen it, might just go for 12 instead. Since i don't really have need for a much better camera.

Although the stainless steel body of the pro might be a bit more tempting and less prone to any #bendgate than aluminium. But pricing vastly different

Couldn’t apple just include the magsafe charger since they were going to remove the charger head?

They have to cut down on materials as most of us have a bag full of chargers and accessories which we dont even use as we already have 3rd party chargers full of usb ports.

Problem is that they give a USB-C to lightning cable in the box... not many people have a USB-C charger

for first time users they will still need to purchase charger but for ppl that bought iphone before will just leave the cable in the box and continue use their old cables with old chargers
