Will Singtel change the combo price plan after rolling out 5G plans?

Wow increased price by $10 already.

I recontracted to Combo 12 last month.

Old Combo 12 at $239.90
36GB of 4G data(because of free DataX3 for 2 years)

New Combo 12 at $249.90
22GB of 5G data

Which would you all prefer?

1st one seems like a better deal for you bro. At least if I were you I'd choose a).

14gb of difference in data is alot. Actually 4g is kinda fast already for outside mobile phone surfing usage.

Is it wasted if buy 5G iPhone but subscribe to 4G ?

Then again, is it a waste to pay extra for half baked 5G line?

Thanks

My iPhone X still working fine but hand itchy never change phone for 3 years so buying 12 mini(cheapest 12 model) to tide me over until next year when they introduce 120Hz :s12:

For 5G to fully mature here may take more than a year, maybe even longer.

In terms of camera capabilities, what’s the difference between Pro & Pro Max ? Only 4x optical zoom vs 5x optical zoom ?

Is the Pro Max really 5x optical zoom bcos the actual word they used are “5x optical zoom range”

Thanks

Pro Max is using sensor shift for stabilisation, the Pro is using regular OIS.

- 52mm to 65mm for Telephoto lens
- Sensor on the wide camera on Pro Max is also 47% larger
- Sensor-shift OIS instead of normal OIS

Apple marketing terms. They calculate from ultra wide to tele. So 13mm to 52mm for the Pro (4x).13mm to 65mm for the Pro Max (5x).

The wide sensor on the Pro Max is bigger which allows more light to enter resulting in better photos. Also, there is sensor shift stabilization on the Pro Max’s wide camera.

apple really wants you to buy its biggest phone, can’t even put the same sensors into 12P

It’s only for the Pro users tbh. Regular consumers wouldn’t notice all these differences and differences in the photos taken.

alamak this is a gimmick, no wonder they used the word “range” ... so the real optical zoom is only 52/28 ~ 1.85x for Pro and 65/28 ~ 2.35x for Pro Max

The wide sensor on the Pro Max is bigger which allows more light to enter resulting in better photos.
so can get better bokeh lah ?

So good for the shaky hands apek like me lah ... 👌🏽

It’s 2x and 2.5x technically. The wide lens is 26mm.

Not better bokeh but better overall photos especially in night scene as more light can enter.
