Check with your current bank for installment plan option too. I know DBS have 0% for 12 months for their preferred payment plan.

I saw from apple store they listed HSBC, OCBC, UOB, SCB
Just nice have 1x OCBC card :o gonna see how it's like later when pre-orders open

The bank cards listed on Apple website are for the installment plan triggered by Apple themselves. You have to call Apple to order your iPhone with installment plan.

Some of the banks do have their own installment plan after you made the purchase from 0% to 3% processing fees of up to 36 months.

Some banks are up 6% for anything above 18 months. So check with your respective banks.

What's the real purpose of this magsafe charging??? it's small, it has a wire and magnet to the back of your phone... so it's like charging with a lighting cable? Or am i missing something here?

Magsafe - you stick to the back.

Lighting - you pop in to the bottom.
also, after swim swim finish, u want to charge using lightning port, GG

use magsafe wireless charging, no problemo

How aggressive were the iPhone pre-orders like historically here in SG? How long will the website be up till it breaks down? Let's assume we have our usual regional "tourists" who somewhat managed to grab a flight ticket to S'pore. Let's anticipate about 25% less of that demographic here on launch day.
as i'd mentioned before -
last time nearly 90% of walk-ins are lugging luggages and sleeping overnight "Singaporeans" (in quotes as media and social media took photos of those crowd and say "see Singaporeans damn rich, all queue iPhone"), but this year got pandemic, so only non-SG residents you see do walk-ins are those eat too free nothing better to do rich people who don't mind coming here 14day SHN for Pro Max, RGL business people (not sure if govt allows this kind of itinerary deviation), or Malaysians who just nice returning back to Malaysia on the same day via Periodic Commuting Arrangement :o

it's patently impossible to have such "damn rich Singaporeans with green passports and sleeping in the queue with luggages" at this time for walk-ins - not for next week launch at least

Do people really swim with the phone?

Always wondered whether the phone will be the same after getting wet (sound quality etc)

How about when you swim swim don't bring your phone? Then lighting charge no issue.

Or before you swim swim, charge full, then come up dry dry phone don't need charge.

Been on Android the past 3 years, jumping back in with a Pro. Excited to get my set but I won't lie that there's some stuff I wish the iPhone had, or at least kept. FaceID is a lot less useful now that everybody's wearing masks outside, the return of TouchID would be nice. Hell, even a pattern unlock would be nice. Poking in a numerical passcode is some caveman shyte.

My friend also deciding between Pixel 5 or the iphone 12. Both are such good phones.

or swim swim, then no need to wait 5 hours for lightning port to dry and use wireless to charge

in any case, im just stating another advantage of wireless charging. magsafe makes it even better by snapping on, instead of having to swee swee align the darn phone on some wireless pads like the mophie dual

muffled, need to play music a bit to push the water out

And after that the sound is back to normal?

I mean I saw the iPhone 12 video production video and they submerged the phone to take a very nice clip. But never dared to do it
