My friend also deciding between Pixel 5 or the iphone 12. Both are such good phones.

I find stock Android a bit boring tbh. As good as the computational photography is on the Pixel, you always wonder if it'd be even better if they'd put some actual decent sensors in the camera array.

tbh Android phones always the same lah. Every year got some super new fancy feature but it gets dropped or forgotten about next year. It's a never-ending hardware race, and I'm tired of it. Just need a change of scenery...until I get tired of iOS lol. I mean just looking at widgets alone, at first I thought it was an amateurish attempt at copying Android/ Windows Phone, but even Google themselves are pushing the boundaries. Imagine that, Google making better widgets on iOS than their own damn OS.

I would choose iPhone 12 because of the processor. Besides, google apps perform better on iOS.
as I was saying lol

if touchid is needed, there's always an iPhone SE 2020 to consider
nah it's the Pro for me. Screen not too small, but also not too big

Hey I'm in the same boat as you. Have been using the Samsung Galaxy S, S2, S3, S4, S6, S8 & S10+. Never touched an iPhone before. But I feel I'm done with android's experimental beta tech that they release every year. Considering to get the 12 Pro or 12 Pro Max this time round. Will definitely miss the ultrasonic on-screen fingerprint scanner but oh well just for the stability, fluidity, 5nm chip and much superior camera system...

Never hurts to jump the fence every now and then...perspective and all that. Not so difficult to switch OSes any more. If you get tired of iOS, worse come to worse, it's resale value beats Android.

Really gonna miss the fingerprint sensor on my P30p lol. Don't wanna keep on harping about it, but eh. I'll live with it.

The bank cards listed on Apple website are for the installment plan triggered by Apple themselves. You have to call Apple to order your iPhone with installment plan.

Some of the banks do have their own installment plan after you made the purchase from 0% to 3% processing fees of up to 36 months.

I actually talked to one of the customer service staff yesterday and he said for installment plan via online purchase, they will do it for delivery and not collection in stores. is it really need to call?

Anyone pre-registered their iphone 12 via Singtel and got their link for tomorrow’s preorder at 12pm in your email already? I have not received mine.

On apple website it says you can do so via calling or chat or going down in store.

But for installment plans made via online purchase - like you mentioned - it's written also in the T&C on the website that collection in stores not applicable & that they will deliver it.

Do note for online purchase with installment - chat or call - you don't checkout the cart. the agent has to do it for you on his/her end.

Totally looking forward to selling of an iPhone after 2 years without getting quoted $80 at an ah beng shop. iPhone will probably be my 1st phone that I can actually sell off and upgrade.
