Are you manual? Is the instructor knowledgeable? I apply same website as well but it's been 7 lessons but so far just driving on road only with gear 3 max. Never learn any other things yet

Hello! Looking for a PDI Manual in East area (CDC).

My current instructor is a mess and isn’t accommodating to my schedule. I’ve gone 10 lessons (1.5 hrs), so far I can do vertical parking, U / 3 point turn, slope, drive on road without any problems. However she kept insisting since beginning I need 25 lesson or so to pass, even though I have military Bronco license. I’ve been pushing her to teach faster since lesson 5, but she kept pointing out minor mistakes and say she can’t teach new stuff till I correct these. After some pressing she finally decided to teach 3 point turn and reverse parking. But she’s so half hearted... Luckily I learnt the basics online and pulled it off well in just a few tries. When teaching me she didn’t even bother mentioning much tips for a successful maneuver... I requested her to teach more circuit stuff, but in the end each lesson she just spend ard 20-30 min teaching it, then the rest is just driving on the same road I’ve driven for 10 lessons already.
My speed may seem fast, but honestly it’s due to me pushing her so hard and me learning from online. She’s really impatient also, haix...

So last lesson I failed 1 out of 5 vertical parking, and made some minor error during road drive, like stalling once, failing to signal once, and skipping gear once. I asked her to teach Parallel and familiarize me with test routes, then she say she’s got her own plans! And pointed out these minor errors like major ones and say I’m trying to fly before I can walk. NANI? AM I THAT SH*T?

Thing is, I want to finish fast due to busy schedule soon in the year. And I find she’s gonna milk me for money by delaying lessons. Had I not learnt everything beforehand from YouTube lessons, she’s just gonna wait for me to make a mistake every-time then point it out, and make me feel bad.

I paid $96+$60 (deposit, probably not gonna get back lol)... Any instructor willing to save me from this mess? I just want somebody who can accommodate to my learning schedule and style, instead of just delaying everything.

What has bronco license gonna do with car license? 1 is mainly on the sandy, muddy track while another is on the road. :s11::eek::D I was from Armour, I had APC license too but still had to go thru about 20 lessons to get my driving license.

If y’all are interested in 3A CDC, PM me for contact.

No pickups thou, because uncle believes it’s a waste of time. Unless u take his last slot for the day or the slot before lunch or something along this line, he will drop u at the MRT station.

As long as you display traits of a willing learner, ask questions, he will definitely answer you. Just don’t expect him to be very nice and not fierce if you do stupid things.

He teaches u to pass hahaha!
And he teaches the school teachers last time so he knows all the points to look out for~
I’m about 8 lessons in and going for circuit practice already. Had 1 parking lesson and I can park better than school students while at the circuit lol.

Definitely recommend 9.5/10
0.5 is because I have to pay haha!

Do not engage Lim Eng Soon

Guys, never ever sign up with Instructor Lim Eng Soon. I rarely write such reviews but he is too much, and I want to warn everyone out there. I signed up for driving classes last year and after almost a year has gone by, I am still far away from getting my driver's license. Why? Because this instructor made me do the same regime EVERY SINGLE TIME. I have one for 30 lessons, and have yet to go into the circuit as well as learn parking. I would give him zero stars if possible. Every single time he would ask me to do the same thing over and over again on the road, and just like what the others said, he would do personal attacks when you are really trying your best. Sometimes I even break down during his lessons which makes me dread going to his lessons towards the end. Sometimes when I did the right things, he would accuse me of not doing it, and when I said I actually did what he taught me, he gets agitated and blasts at me to shut me up. Furthermore, he always ends early, and often stops you at the road side and pull out his "notes" which he has already explained a million times, and explain to you again and again until the time is up. He is being very cunning and unprofessional. Sometimes he would pump patrol halfway through the lesson, and without fail he would take long toilet breaks every single lesson. I started to doubt myself until my friend recommended me another driving instructor which I eventually switched over, and that's when I realised that my driving is not as bad as what Mr Lim has exaggerated. After taking so many lessons, he has never ever mentioned about practical test booking, as he was too engrossed in making me repeat the same things every single lesson. I'm so glad I got out of it, if not I am sure he would drag the numbers of lessons as many as possible. When finally I told him I am switching instructor, he let me go with no questions asked, because why? He has already earned enough from me. Everyone please be very careful of this instructor. Please do not fall into his trap and report him if possible.

Why don’t want just go school.... got proper curriculum and no need go through all these pain. Don’t like your instructor then just remove him off your list.
