Seems like it's not valid for True Cashback. Oh well. I'll continue to top up with Amex TCB for 1.5% cashback.

Grab QR use fund from grab wallet not from credit card.

I've advised earlier in this thread, GrabPay doesn't automatically process the unposted or refunds charges. That's why, it's very risky to use GrabPay MC, for transactions that may be refunded or voided.

GrabPay puts the responsibility on its customers, to report to their Support, on transactions that are not refunded, and they required customers to provide proof of acknowledgement from merchant that the charged amount will not be posted and refunded. Without this merchant confirmation, GrabPay will not auto process the refund, most of the occasions.

GrabPay is still not ready, to run their role as a Bank or Credit Card provider. Their Support and internal processes are not familiar with many bank and credit cards typical issues. In fact, some of the US and SG websites, still doesn't accept GrabPay MC..

HI, thanks for reply. I have confirmed that alipay is going to refund to me (their app show refund in progress by right should receive on 12/11). I also contact Grab to highlight this problem and show them all the screenshot, they reply me to wait for at least 7 days for refund or call taobao by myself.

Taobao Singapore hotline cant do anything for this, they push me to contact alipay but alipay livechat always is a robot.

Can you advise me that besides wait 7days, what else I can do?

Can only wait. This is a common problem with prepaid/debit cards even with DBS debit card.

Funds are "debited" with on-hold status pending merchants to close @ end of day. But if merchant side does not claim your funds eg. Txn failed, then it will be released back to your bank/Grab. Then it depends on how fast your bank/Grab can process the refund and credit back to your card account.

For Banks, any unposted or refunded charges, amount normally will AUTOMATICALLY return within 7 days.

However, for GrabPay MC, I've several cases already. Grab doesn't automatically return the unposted/refunded amount. Grab Support is very unfriendly, and not familiar how to handle bank-related types of matters. They will only return the amount, unless you can get an official email from the merchant to confirm that they've refunded the amount, or they will not post the charge-on-hold. Currently, the refund process is in second stage on alipay. The app show bank accept refund (stage 2).

It show estimate time receive back money is around 23/11. So, does that means if alipay update stage 3 which they already refund the money back and I still dont receive my money back, I can use all my screenshot as a proof to show Grab? Cos alipay wouldnt send email for refund.

Or I should contact Grab now?

I wanted to post screenshot here, but the system doesnt allow me to do.

Thanks for you guys. Grab has refund me but due to fx rate, received back slightly less than what I paid.

Great, happy for you.
Normally, if you got screenshot proofs submitted to Grab Support, they'll process the refund back to your GrabPay Wallet.

Sadly, I still got pending case with Grab Support, for an on-hold charge by merchant, who mis-charged to my GrabPay MC. The Merchant verbally told me they won't post the on-hold charge. but still haven't send me any acknowledgement email on that. So, Grab doesn't return the on-hold charge amount to me since 26 Oct 2020. &#55357;&#56869;

Depends if the voucher is rarely on discount. Some goes up to 25% so 22% is still a good find

if u got alot of Grab rewards points, just redeem these 22% vouchers, on those merchants u'll use. coz each redemption promo, got max 5 or 10 redemptions only. even next time got a much bigger % redemption promo, u may still not redeem all ur rewards points, due to the promo cap restriction.

do take note, some vouchers are not stackable, eg. u can't use 5 x $5 Shopee vouchers today, in 1 transactions. But, for Qoo10 or CapitaStar, it's to top-up ur Wallet, so u can top-up all 5 x $5 Qoo10 / 10 x $5 Gift Cards to ur wallet, before u use it all in 1 transaction.
Haven't try the rest of the vouchers, on whether stackable or not...
