Hello!!
Would like to go for Lasik this Dec and want to understand more abt the doctors? From what i read so far,
1. Dr Natasha Lim (her own clinic, seems like a celebrity doctor)
2. Dr Lee Sao Bing (Shinagawa clinic)
3. Dr Julian Theng and Dr Lim Wee Kiak (2 co-Founder of Eagle Eye Centre)
4. Dr Tony Ho (Clear Vision clinic)

Anybody can pm me the referral for the clinics and what’s the amount discounted? Or any additional clinic recommended?

And im really confused by the different types of Lasik surgeries by different clinics. I believe theres the most basic Lasik and most advanced is SMILE. But theres also iLasik, bladeless Lasik, PRK, EpiLasik - whats more advance here?

Thank you!!

Any reviews on either Clearvision or Eagle eye Westgate?

Would highly recommend Dr. Lynn Yeo from Eagle Eye Centr, she even has her own website with lots of information about lasik, cataract and other eye issues. Google her. She goes to the Westgate branch, but lasik op will be done at King Albert Park branch instead.

My aunt did her LASIK with dr Tony Ho last year so I would recommend him. He also writes articles about LASIK https://www.doctorxdentist.com/doctors/tony-ho?tab=articles

Hi guys, I would like to check if it is worth doing lasik at 30 years old? Heard its because I will get presbyopia in the years to come. Anyone else did it at my age or even older?

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone with around 1000 degrees here has experience undergoing LASIK or LASEK (TransPRK) at SNEC?

PS I have already gone to several clinics for assessments:s22:

Hi, may I know where you did your ICL at and how much?
I have not done the procedure but,

ICL lenses can go as low as 3k per eye (6k ~ 7k plus), provided they are non astig lenses.
If its with astig for both eyes, it could range from (9k+ ~ 15k-16k ish)

yeah... I called and messaged many clinics to find out...

Ive have some question regarding the above surgery, i heard from some people that Lasik causes complications as you age? Is that true? Plus, if i were to go for the surgery, does that mean i can watch TV very close, read book in the dark all these doesn affect my vision any more?
You need to stil take care of your eyes properly so that your eyesight do not worsen......watch TV very close, read book in the dark is a sure way of making yr eyesight go bad whether or not u have lasik is irrelevant lol...

I had lasik 10 over years ago at SNEC Singapore National Eye Centre and its stil working fine....
As u age, the most common eyesight problem is long sightedness or lao hua yan....yr handphone gets further and further away from ur eyes to make out the text clearly lol....:s13:

375 on the left 675 on the right.

on the right, I see things like close up eye will painful sometimes.

Hi,

Anyone did ICL with Dr Rosman from SNEC before can share experience?

Debating whether to do with Dr Rosman or Private (Mount Elizabeth Novena). Even though private costs slightly lower, my experience felt very transactional, and their staff not that reassuring.
