Many warranties has a minimum number of dead/bright pixel policy.
Ya but a dead pixel is a dead pixel. They have to do something abt it. Its their job to do QC properly, esp for customised built

Sadly, terms is terms in legal perspective. The dead pixels policy should be stated inside the T&C before u made purchase. Paid le means u agreed to their terms whether u read thru or not.

But in almost all monitor makers, need a minimum of 3 dead pixels to claim warranty. In any case, best not to go finding for more unless TS can somehow find 2 more then can go claim.

Its stated in the T&C in cart.

3. Return/Exchange Policy
Configured-To-Order ("CTO"): Lenovo will not make refunds, accept returns and allow exchanges for all CTO products.
Fixed Configuration: You have up to 7 calendar days from the time you receive your item(s) to initiate a return/exchange. To initiate a return/exchange, please send email to sgcs@lenovo.com.
Defective or Dead-on-arrival:For quality related returns (defined as Dead On Arrival, Missing, Wrong, Damaged, or Cosmetic ("MWDC") issues & 7 or more dead pixels), customers are allowed a full refund of their purchase price.

Well then its a case of QC not done properly. They should especially for customised built

Isn't discrete means the dedicated graphics card? You using discrete of course draw more power.

Quiet, hybrid and performance are the three modes which you can toggle easily with Fn + Q

Quiet draws the least power.
Performance draw the most.

oh. haha.

even not discrete, i still get less than 3hrs.

is this normal?
Less than 3 hours.

What was your laptop doing during that 3 hours?

You might wanna fully discharge your battery first. And then charge it back up to 100% and try again.

Even in Quiet mode. Other settings will also affect the battery life, such as:
- Bluetooth connection,
- screen brightness,
- background upload / download
- laptop speaker volume
- background operations

Agree on the terms, if they allow to change consider a win for them for their service and a win for me. Don't allow it's ok, not a Biggie bah :s12:
