I hope they don’t increase the capacity coz there is no enough gaming table and ETG available Liao. The baccarat table close from 3 or 4 am and only open the next day at 2:30pm. Think there is no available staff and croupiers too, so better not increase Liao.

I don't think they will increase capacity that soon.. Maybe Feb or Mar they will review if all goes well.. There are staff shortages too not just in casino but in F&B also. Bringing in more staff from China & Phil will be a challenge now.

Current situation is still manageable.. The only thing i hope for is that they allow live music outside and also do better promos bonus for the casino. In the next 3 to 4 months the regulars & players will be the 1s that may go often.. Public market is limited. At current low prices & half capacity for cruise it is not profitable even for RC and casino is the only earner for both the cruise lines.

Before increase capacity both the cruise line & STB must know how to bring in more passengers and to create a better cruise experience for them. Example like increase the alcohol sale to 1am, more live music , open more entertainment venues etc.. Do something different from the land. But of course with all the safety measure in place.

For us regulars we got free cabins is fine but i also don't find it that enticing but for the general public they will want a better & enjoyable cruise experience for their money worth.

Agree with you bro. The rejection for restaurant is very annoying. Imagine that you go to restaurant at 6:30-7pm and was told the restaurant is full already? I felt that dream cruise must do something on this or else losing repeat customers and/or regulars.

luckily i watch the very xmas show in nov so nvr book any shows..

i think the ship got staff shortage.. the sda have to do alot of crowd control especially during meal times..

also for upgrade to suites u can do it when you are onboard at deck 6 front office.. 2n is 500 plus and 3n is 800 plus per cabin subject to availabilty and comes with full suites benefits.

28dec onwards live singing outside is permitted

Hi, just to cfm, the mentioned upgrade cost of 800+ is per cabin or per pax?
I’m already on balcony cabin and wonder if it’s worth to upgrade to palace once on board and if there are availability.

Thanks for the ans! If per cabin then it looks like worth to upgrade if there are availability

Yes if yours is a free/comp/PP cabins then is worth to upgrade if you choose too.

You get full premium drinks package & specialty dining & benefits.. If you nvr try suite before you can consider.

Yes price is per cabin and once you onboard please go to the front office to check & upgrade.

I got a quote for March holiday package 4D3N for 2 balcony staterooms side by side for my family of 3 adults and 2 kids ... total about $2.5k

Plus gratuity at $21 per pax/night x 5 means grand total close to $2.8k in total ...

Will be virgin trip on Dream Cruise having sailed on RC cruise for few trips ...

Yes thats roughly the price for Mar sailings.. DC website will be the best gauge to compare. Jan and Mar return the same prices on DC website

The value added promos ended i think

only 12 & 14Feb cruise will be slightly higher just abit only. Usually it should be peak for CNY few days but then the price is not much diff for jan to mar.

DC is pricing to sell and not price high.

Looks like it may be cheaper to upgrade at level 6 (subject to availability) then buying it upfront.

I remembered 4D3N for 2 pax to upgrade from balcony to palace suite cost additional $800+

Actually I am not sure if upgrade at level 6 will be cheaper or not. I am also going for 4D 3N and i was told to upgrade to palace requires 45K Plus Point. Not sure if the same PP required if doing it from level 6 reception. Any bro can advice? Thanks.

45000PP to redeem a 3N suite low season is correct.

Upgrade onboard is by paying cash and subject to availability so both is different.

7500pp is eqv sgd100.

If you have enough PP u will use your PP to redeem suite that's the purpose of the PP. Using PP to redeem suite is the most ideal. PP can also be use to offset bill charges or convert to E-credit. I still think use PP to redeem suite is the most worth it unless they give u free suite.

For a average player to earn 45000pp is not easy.. 10TP earn gets you around 3000pp

If you reach Plat status they can give u free suite cabin you need to check with the host.

For me i wont pay cash for my cabin. The only time i use cash pay for cabin was my very 1st cruise on GD in early 2018. But the upgrade onboard to suite can consider lol..

Does it mean that upgrade at level 6 cannot be done using PP?

I think it should be ok but i think you need to verify.. PP is cash and you can only offset it at the front office. I never in this way before. But it will cost you more PPs then you redeem it with 45000pp

Just curious how long do you need to gamble to earn enough points to get free cabin room ?
I played for around 4-5 hrs table games only
Managed get 1000+ points only on Dream cruise.

what’s the minimum bet amt you played for 4 to 5 hours? 1000pp should be ard 3 tier pts.
what’s your current membership tier? i know for classic/silver membership they MAY offer complimentary balcony weekdays cruise (sun to wed, wed to fri).
