Same! I have been using the cameras for a few years with no issue and suddenly, i can't view my cameras from outside of home anymore. The precise reason why I got these cameras were cos I didn't have to do port forwarding. But it seems like I have to take a step backwards.

Along with the other issues mentioned here... when I randomly check on my recordings, realised that the camera had stopped recording. Had to do the reboot and format SD card.

I'm on the lookout for other PnP cameras.

Think better tell Dean

Bro, you are talking about PTZ (Pan-tilt-zoom) ip cameras which would easily costs about S$38. The lightweight Xiaobai costs about S$25.
It is upto you. For me, I would rather go for 2 piece of Xiaobai at S$50 which would cover the same area. The Mijia apk can take upto 9 camera views.

Also, when you are out and about, just switch your phone's Wifi to enable 'Mobile Hotspots', then you can bring one of this lightweight Xiaobai with you for recording outdoors (using power banks). Whereas, PTZ camera for outdoors is a bit cumbersome. For outdoors, it is even better to use a IP65 waterproof camera, "Xiaomi Mijia Smart Outdoor IP Camera Waterproof 170 angle 1080P HD". I just like this camera so much :s13:

Xiaomi Mijia Smart Outdoor IP65 Camera Waterproof 170 angle 1080P HD WIFI webcam
- IP65 dustproof and waterproof, suitable for more outdoor scenes

Notice even the connector is waterproof, so you gotta make sure your power bank is protected in the rain, seaside or pool. :s13:

Gave up on trying to get the Sineoji IP cams to work when on a different network, also gave up on trying to reach Sineoji SG.

Bought a pair of Wyze Cam V3 instead from US, I think works out to slightly under $100 delivered to Singapore.

I'm not a pro at reviewing IP cams but all I can say is so far they are super worth the price when compared to Sineoji:

Wyze said it should take less than 5 mins to set up. It's true, it should be around 2 mins to set up each cam, the first one took slightly longer since need to link to the wifi network.

The video quality is so much clearer compared to Sineoji.

The app works flawlessly.

The IP cam units themselves are light, and the base has 2 magnetic strips. So you can attach them to a metal surface, or just use 3M removable mounting tapes, no drilling needed.

Powered by USB, the connectors look to be the water resistant and sealed type.

I'm looking for a camera that records 24 hours from a spot that has totally no internet, no wifi.

I want to be able to read the footage from my phone or laptop.
Any available?
I tink it's call access via access point

"For home or office use : IMILAB (Xiaomi's subsidiary) Windows program which have max 9 cameras view or zoom in to any one view or 4 views. Play back historical files from each individual camera if microsd card is inserted. Example is my two Xiaomi cameras below.

This software version below link is good for the Singapore server. Don't forget to read "PLEASE READ THE IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE USING THE APP".
Most of the camera models are covered but there are some models you need to do some mod/changes to the device profile.

I do not have any PTZ camera but on the mobile phone screen with Mijia apk, you can pinch with 2 fingers to adjust zoom; not on the Windows app.

Just as a reference for members interested to know, the left side camera is the Xiaobai lightweight 65g camera and the right side is the Mijia Smart Outdoor IP65 Waterproof Camera. Both are 1080p, glass lens, cmos sensor, H.265 video coding. Difference is the Xiaobai wide angle 110°. The Mijia outdoor IP65 is wider at 170°. You will notice the more pronounced curvature of the Mijia outdoor camera due to this wider angle.

I think those that are sold under IMILAB will be included in the device_profile. Otherwise, one have to mod the device_profile by guestwork. Those already programmed included the followings:-

model:"xiaovv.camera.xvb4", description:"Xiaovv Outdoor IP65",
model: "isa.camera.hlc6", description:"Mi Camera Magnetic",
model:"mijia.camera.v1", model: "chuangmi.camera.v2", description:"ipc003",

Above list (include the Mi Camera Magnetic) can work on DSmartLife v.1.0 which I am using. For the newest version DSmartLife v.1.1, even though I mod the device profile to include the model: "isa.camera.hlc6" "Mi Camera Magnetic", the Mijia outdoor IP65 does not work. Only the xiaobai lightweight camera works. ATM, I revert back to use the old version 1.0. I suspect that Imilab must have modified some files in the new version to prevent hacking.
