Noted, thanks!Depending on what brand of lenses, blue light can be from 20-80 onwards. Photochromic usually 100 onwards.

@GANGSTERKIA plastic plus and ILT lens still in market or not?
Good to have these lower tier brands to cater to different segments and needs of the mktI think OSA better than hi top but thats many years ago liao. Surprised these brands still around.

Get a new pair altogether would be the best option. To use the same lens, you need to find a frame that is similar, and when you cut the lenses to fit the frame, some of the tint would be lost. not really recommended to salvage the lenses tbh.Hi all, here to seek your opinion.
if I Want to prescribe a pair of sunglasses with degrees (short sighted and astig), and if i am not particular about frame and Lens branding, how cheap can it be?
I actually have an old pair (seldom wear and about 5 years old) but the frame broke, though the lens are still ok. Am wondering if I should go around searching for a frame to suit the lens, or should just get a new old altogether.
TIA

OSS has pretty cheap lens tinting. Depending on what frame you choose, what curvature of the frame, what brand of lenses. It can range from 100+ to 300+.Thank you.
if my degree is about 350, astig 100, any recommendation for prescribed sunglasses please?
and roughly how much?
But they dont have progressives right?Yes. Still got.
ILT is OSS(which sells OSA lenses). So they have progressives. But they dont have progressives right?
Zeiss has up to 4m. I would recommend Hoya Workstyle(Desk), or Zeiss computer lens 2m.I think I need to get a computer glasses. My neck is breaking up (keep on chin up).
I google about computer glasses, Zeiss mention the vision is up to 2m max. Is it all other brand computer lens will able to get this vision distance but it is depend on lens brand and Optician skill?
For computer lens, is it necessary to add those blue coating, UV protection, etc?
Or which coating is best to have?
what will be the est lens cost for both?Zeiss has up to 4m. I would recommend Hoya Workstyle(Desk), or Zeiss computer lens 2m.
i have to check tmr. Workstyle has room desk and reader. Just go with Desk, *usually* wont go wrong with it.what will be the est lens cost for both?
I just google. Saw Hoya have Workstyle room and Zeiss office lens.
If I dont want to keep on changing spec within the house. Will these be a better choice?
My degree is 600 each side.
What will be the lens cost for this room and office type?
Nope. That is why GM cant do prescription for majority of their sunglasses. Flat front=0 degree unless you cut holes on the lenses are input power inside. but it will look like an egg yolk, very ugly and i doubt majority of the labs in singapore does it.I noticed that there is trend in sunglasses that has absolute flat front surface lens (often seen in brands like Gentle Monster). So I am curious if it is possible to order a prescription sunglasses that is also flat in the front surface? Thanks in advance.

Nope, flat front is impossible with prescription. There will be some minimal curve no matter what.So for near sight, technically we can do flat front and curved back surface, right?
In fact, I am very curious who determine the degree of front surface? I noticed that for normal prescription lens, , the higher the power, the flatter the front surface. Is this to maximize the optical quality or just esthetic appearance? Thanks.
