Quite true. Now buyer dilemma is 5 pro vs Legion 7 since pricing is similar. I was contemplating getting legion 7 but worried about the hinge issues where it broke easily on the legion7i model.
Not sure if its me but there seems to be an overhaul in their labelling. e.g Legion 7i, 5i, 5Pi...

I think it's the other way around. Using numbers in brand name is smart. It indicates whether the product line up is low/mid/high end already

Intel Core i3 --> i5 --> i7
Ryzen 3 --> 5 --> 7
RTX 3060 --> 3070 --> 3080
Legion 5 --> 7

Look at Asus, who knows what's the difference between Zephyrus vs ROG? or MSI even worse, what's the heck is GL/GP/GE/GS laptops :s11:

7i 5i came because Intel used to be a de facto choice of mobile processor last 20 years. Now the tide has turned & the default choice is AMD, i minor indicate Intel version.

5P is predecessor of 5 Pro, now no more. If there's Intel version for 5 Pro, it should be 5i Pro

I think HP best in labelling. The rest of the company to complicated.

I just told the sales to do better than the "SHOPBACKAMD" discount voucher....
cool thanks, will try to squeeze them hehe
Edited: I asked 1 CS agent just now, they refused twice to offer even 10% discount :(

Haha new to this PD charging as well. I think need this kind of PD supported charger

Max support 100W PD only, recommend RAVPower 90W or Choetech 100W
