Indeed. Price drop and yet not selling. See many sets stuck.

When demand for those sets drop, they will stop buying from the website and also will be forced to sell at a lower margin.

Probably a sign of saturation. Afterall, not everyone can afford or wish to pay more and be a carrot

the price surge during june is likely due to school holidays and HL. People cannot go out so buy console play at home. I sold my spiderman game to a father who gave the kid a PS5 as a replacement for not being able to bring him for holiday

Makes total sense. Console + game is cheaper than bringing out for holiday. I seen a lot of parents bringing their kids for Staycay as well the last couple of weeks.

Does anyone here purchase physical copies of games online frequently? How's the experience?

I recently ordered Nioh Collection from Amazon US and it came with the plastic hinges broken and disc scratched. Waited for 1 month to arrive and another 1 more month for refund. Previously ordered Demon's Souls from Amazon US, it arrived in pristine condition though.

Then I ordered games from shopee days ago, it arrived today. My dark souls disc was lightly scratched and a cut on the cover. It plays okay though.

Is it I sway?

i order from both amazon and local ecommerce site before. the only issue i had was that the disc fell out from the "disc clip" during shipment. The disc will drop out of the casing if you never open the cover carefully during the initial unwrapping.

So far I ordered my ps5 and switch games from shopee all no issue. Fast delivery and in good condition.

Order directly from Amazon US website or from Amazon SG site but the item says its sold by Amazon US? To be safe, I usually purchase from the US website so I know who is selling the item as the SG site does not indicate and just simply says its sold and shipped by Amazon US even if it is sold by a 3rd party seller in the US and there will be risk if the store is not honest and actually sent you a used item that is re-sealed. If it's sold and shipped by Amazon directly, usually no issue.
