DBS awards 9X next month. Is it worth risking one month spending?
I know that is why im asking Trazora did he confirm himself or just from datapoint.

If someone can comfirm why not?
My card hasn't arrived if so I will definitely will try with one small transaction and happy to share here :)

Citi rewards has offline spending.

And DBS can just exclude AMAZE* without it being offline.
of cos test citi rewards on those offline merchants that do not give 10x points usually.

DBS cannot anyhow exclude AMAZE* lah

I think most of the people interested to know if offline transaction can convert purchase to online with wwmc

If you are not happy to share your result here then no problem. I will wait for my card and share my result here :)

why not? It could likely be offline transactions turning online by mistake or intentionally.

DBS will quickly find out if it works. And could even do retrospectively clawing back rewards.

If DBS wants to add a new exclusion that is clearly not under the existing list of exclusion they need to give min 1 month notice, right? When did you ever see DBS retrospectively claw back rewards for txns not excluded in the existing TnC?

DBS WWMC T&C Clause 3:

3. DBS reserves the right at any time and at its sole discretion to vary these Terms and Conditions or suspend
or terminate the Woman’s Card Promotions & Programmes without any notice or liability to any Cardmember, and all Cardmembers shall be bound by these amendments.

In fact most credit card T&Cs have a similar clause. Any advance notice is really given only out of goodwill.

Actually they can, just like how Citi did a blanket ban on PAYPAL* a short while ago (but later reverted the decision). A friend of mine who was an engineer at a local bank once told me how easy it is to add an exclusion like this to the backend system.

Well if it indeed works it would suffer from the same fate as GrabPay top ups soon, because “sharing is caring”. 😂

If I pair with say maybank friends & family mc and use amaze to pay for eligible categories eg restaurants locally, will it still qualify for 8% cashback from maybank and an additional 1% from amaze if i meet all the minimum spend criteria? Otherwise it will only make sense to use amaze purely for foreign currency transactions

If i link to my DBS WWMC to amaze card, do they follow DBS exclusion clauses ? For e.g, payment online to education institution will not be rewarded with 4m/p
