Dividends distributed from 01 Jan 2021 to 31 March 2021 are Paid in this April dividend payout. Just follow this trend and u will know next payout will b in jul soon…..

Yield wont be alot obviously as it is based on the no. Of units u r holding for each of the stock listed in the iedge s-reits
https://www.sgx.com/indices/products/sreitlsp
Not all the reit in it r paying ah eg
https://www.sgx.com/securities/equities/AU8USome pays frequently/regularly
Some maybe one yr once or not even once

so u shd ask this qn more than 1yr later instead….
i do not believe in taking a quarter’s yield and then multiply x 4 to get per year

to have a substantial quarterly yield of abt 100sgd+, good that u could invest more than 15k (hope this is a rough gauge for u)

Although i m not sure when he bought in his reit pf is that a gd price , nevrtheless his is 44k only 2% yield in half yr time (which is not far from my 0.7% yield per quarter- ie why i told u some quarters some reits may hve issued more dpu, some totally skipped it)

honestly i dont find the yield % high/reasonable at all!!!
1st dec till nw: 7 mth: 8.09% (time-wt return only) but opted 4 divs Not to be reinvested (recvd 1st payout o $100++ mths ago )
lots o Volatility!!! will b reducing this Reit pf 1day

If I've got $7k spare cash, is it wise/worth to open a new Syfe a/c and park $1k each to Cash+, REIT+, Core x 3, Equity100, Global ARI say for 1-3years?

U hve to first ans what is the spare cash use for? Wat do u intend to achieve out of it? Eg midterm retirement or
Short term quick bucks…

To fully experience the mission of reits, w just 1-2k in a reit, that is not impactful at all…..

If u dont care a thing, your 雨露均沾method indeed is something suitable for such thinking

The spare cash is for growth in the meantime..till I manage to get a ballot number for future BTO exercises
Just don't want the cash to be kept in the bank doing nothing much ..

1. Is your emergency funds up?
2. Is your insurance up to date?
3. Once these 2 are up, you are free to allocate whatever you want with that 7k.

Assuming that 7k is really spare cash, and you have no need for the money for a long time, just invest into cpf or srs for tax relieve.

7k really isn't much to be honest

Obviously can see that u r prepared and readied w your extra funds (gd to knw u must b young w bto, even 40yo+ is young nowadays)

park your 7k primarily onto eqty100,
if u r the worried-conservative type? Then syfe core growth
There is no need to spread all over syfe! Syfe core and syfe eqty has similae items hence no need to replicate them

Reit is a long-drawn affair w volatility

This is not what Syfe's calculation logic is and that's why I am looking for a plausible reason why I should accept this logic.
hve they reply u?
or ref to u
Whenever there is cash/divs move in/out , they will wanna look@ the returns of your investmt purely usin Nav Concept:

use this! https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/...shaway-vs-syfe.6092311/page-28#post-131950820
u have to keep Telling yourself: wht is left in your Net Investmt (or net deposit) ie "investd amt" is after deductg All tht crosses the line of your bank account!!!
if u opted out dividends, hence divs crosses (wdrawn) from ur robo into your bank , that will impact your NEt deposit/investmt too

wat is your tot invesmt then ? get Net inv amt + divs paid = Tot u investd

Since 14 May, the iEdge S-REIT Index has generated an 8.7% total return, outpacing the STI, which gained 3.2% over the nine weeks. Globally, #REITs were among the strongest segments of the stock market over the past nine weeks, along with technology and manufacturing #stocks. The 10 trusts that led the S-REIT Sector performances over the nine weeks represent multiple sub-sectors.
But How abt the performance of remaining 10 in iedge? Esp we r closing dining in again!!!
