If u come from a bigger phone, the first time u use it will be quite a shock. but will get better after a week or two :D

Agreed, coming from OP 8 Pro. Really like the small size actually!

Heh see the price and specs for iP13 mini

reasons why I never get iP12 mini was the price (small diff from iP12) and poor battery life (compact phones selling point is strong battery life)

Battery lasts me all day (for now). Probably because I WFH. Last weekend when I take more photos and videos and some GPS, had to recharge around 9pm with about 30% left.

Got my mini off the second hand market for pretty good price to try out iOS and the form factor. May get a used 13 Mini at around the same time next year, depending on the price.

I see. If you ever return to android you may wanna consider nintype. There’s a chance the keyboard may get updated in the near future.

Its probably one of the best two handed swiping keyboard. There’s an iPhone version but you shouldn’t get anymore. The developer kinda went MIA

If I return to Android I’ll most likely go back to GBoard. It’s a really incredible keyboard, especially the clipboard manager. Sadly that feature not available on the iOS version.

I’m using Gboard on my Note10+ currently, it really is quite impressive. Before this was using the default Samsung keyboard. I find myself having more typing errors on the Samsung keyboard.

Today checked the battery health, dropped to 92% from 93% on 24 Jul 21. About 9 days only. Really hope that by this dropping rate, I am able to get free a battery replacement.
Today dropped to 91% from previous 92% on 2 Aug 2021. 10days apart. I am excited to have a battery replacement before warranty end.

What’s the cheapest market rate for a iPhone 12 now? Looking at base model 64Gb.

Maybe 1030?

Recontracted with m1 for a purple iphone 12 128gb since their sales price seemed pretty good.
Using android all these years. Trying for fun.

m1 probably getting rid of stock before iphone 12S/13 is out.

will iphone 12 in the 2nd hand/carousell market drop further when iphone 13 is released or is it already priced in ?

After iPhone 13 launch, people will be selling their iPhone 12 all over carousell or to mobile shops, price will definitely drop. So, if you are looking for 2nd hand iPhone 12, wait for maybe 1 month plus and see.

Today dropped to 90% from previous 91% on 12 Aug 2021. 9days apart. Hopefully it will continue to drop. I read from Apple forum, got people stated that it stopped to drop further at 89% for more than a month instead of previous 1% per 10days.

For iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro

Apple will repair iPhone 12 models that have audio problems

[LOS ANGELES] Apple said a "very small percentage" of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro devices have an audio problem and pledged to repair the products for affected customers.

The phones in question, manufactured between October 2020 and April 2021, have a defect with a component on the receiver module, Apple said on its website.

The repair will be free of charge, and the problem doesn't affect the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

"If your iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro does not emit sound from the receiver when you make or receive calls, it may be eligible for service," the Cupertino, California-based company said.

Apple is fixing the problem ahead of the release of new iPhones, which are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The new models should retain the same basic design as the iPhone 12, but will have enhanced camera capabilities and other features, people familiar with the matter have said.

Still too early to tell. Will need to test this with WiFi on to trigger the issue as my in app browser will lose network connectivity whenever this issue happen.

Holding the 12 Pro Max since launch day in Nov 2020, so excited for iPhone 12s or iPhone 13 whatever is called. The annual phone changing time in Sept 2021. Getting rid of the Max, too big and heavy, can’t wait!

What if iPhone 13 (or 12s) Pro Max is just as big/heavy if not worse?

I certainly find iPhone 11 Pro easier to hold than the iPhone 12 Pro.
