The damage is kinda done anyway. Got a friend who is a massive Nintendo fanboy (he hates Sony) and he was bashing Playstation non stop regarding this in my group chat. He also keeps saying that PS5 is RDNA 1 and 9.2 Teraflops. And that only very few games will make use of the Dual Sense adaptive trigger and haptic feedback. lol.
I went to gaming forums like Resetera and Neogaf yesterday and the fanboys there are taking this fake news as gospel even though there were people debunking it.
Bottom line is fanboys want to take bad news about their opposing consoles and run with it. But when the truth comes out that the bad news is fake, they go hiding in their holes again.
I still can't believe that there are still fanboys above the age of 40, especially those who bash consoles that they are not fanboy of. It's hilarious.
Just play games and enjoy.
Ya, don't know why people so diehard fanboys, the brands only care about profits from their customers.
Nintendo is worse in that aspect, the mark up Nintendo put on their hardwares is insane, I think only Nintendo actually profit from every sale of hardware, essentially overpaying for the Nintendo platform, while I do like my Switch.
Nintendo is still milking an obsolete Tegra SOC.
End of the day, this is a cost saving measure, but I'm sure it's within the calculated tolerance of operational temps.
But doubt it will matter, those that want a PS5, will still buy it. Those that talk crap about it, wouldn't have bought it in the first place.
