Does Xiaomi's warranty cover the panel for all 3 years?
I read that most sellers only offer 1 year warranty and it's not no-site meaning you have to bring your faulty TV to the seller.

Can consider the Mi TV P1 or iFfalcon (by TCL) K71SG. The iFfalcon has a VA panel while the Mi TV P1 has an ADS panel.
Oh, didn't know iFFalcon is by TCL, VA panel tend to be better in color range, isn't it better?

VA panel is superior than IPS for its colour reproduction, so the other considerations will be on other factors such as the other features and possibly brand as well.

Hi sorry if on my parent’s mi tv. It is not bought by me so I only know it’s model no. is L65M5-EA. It was bought about 1year+ ago. My question is how do you guys install Netflix, MeWATCH etc on the tv? The only store I found is mi store and I can’t find these apps. I tried to download Apitode TV on it and downloaded Netflix & MeWATCH from there but I can only launch the app but cannot navigate within.

Any advice? Thank you in advanced!

This model is for use within china.

For netflix and mewatch, the two apk files you downloaded from apitode are meant for handphone, you need to connect a mouse to operate.

However, since it is not certified for netflix, it can only show up to 480p, looks very blur on the big 65" screen.

Suggest you spend about $70 to get a mibox s, they will be able to use remote control to watch mewatch and netflix in high resolution.

yes, there are many good apps for installation on mibox s and china version mitv. Too many to mention here, go to facebook group - tv box (apps) - to find out.

At most minihelper set may not have the dvb-t2 port if there are variations of P1 for different countries. But mostly is in terms of warranty and what is covered. Minihelper shld be 1 yr carry in whereas local xiaomi shld be 3 yrs on site.

oic thanks cause the salesman at xiaomi sg told me got promo at 799 for 55" right now w/o bracket whereas for minihelpers i saw if with swivel bracket+installation+2 yr warranty is like 769
if the p1 set is real p1 n not some other variation than the online price is more attractive for me

If you don't require swivel bracket, can considering getting from courts online store.

https://www.courts.com.sg/xiaomi-l5...android-10-smart-tv-online-exclusive-ip168737

Mi TV P1 55" ($719) + Fixed wall mount installation ($63)
Delivery should be another ~$10.
All in should be just under $800, for 55 P1 and fixed bracket installation.
However, stocks are very limited (left 4 sets as of this posting).

3yrs onsite warranty from official Xiaomi SG is better than the 2yr carry-in warranty by PI resellers.

The P1 at Courts has increased price to $739
Previously when the 55 P1 was $799 (RRP), you can apply promo codes to get discount.
But I think they (Courts store) fixed that already since technically all Xiaomi TVs are under their 'Online Exclusive' deals.

They revert back to non Online Exclusive so you can now apply the promo codes

$799, use code SUPER99 to get 20% off.
