I noticed from gsmarena's data that iphone 13 pro max has 8 GB RAM this time and Iphone 13/mini has 6 GB RAM.

Has this been 100% confirmed? If so, then 13 pro max is more powerful as it also has 1 more gpu core (5 core over Iphone 13's 4 core gpu). This year's pro seems to have more differentiation.

Currently on XS Max, thinking of upgrading to 13 Pro, but not sure if I should get it via CIS plan or just get the set from Apple Store directly. Too bad not much promos for users from other telcos (On MR at the moment)

Me too, blue pro max but first time iPhone, all along Samsung user. Killing of Note series bring me over. Fold 3 too exp + camera a disappointment.

Also long time user of filmic pro, so very interested in the new cinematic mode and whether Filmic can make use of it. LOG+ prores combo

Yes, I upgrade to new iPhone every single year, no contract from Apple Online Store purchase as I am using SIM-only plan.

This time upgrading to smaller ip13 Pro from ip12 Pro Max, will be using smaller phone after so many years. Can’t wait for the small size, easier to handle in hands, pocket and lesser in weight!

I am surprise that Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan major telcos all supported eSIM before us, we are really laggard thanks to SingTel and StarHub for their jiak liao bee action

It's a business strategy. If they start offering eSIMs, people would be enticed to use one line for calls and the other for data only.

When there is official Apple online store with a few click from Apple Store app and ready for collection on d-day / home delivery why go 3rd party iStudio for d-day launch so troublesome. Not like on D-day there will be discount or different from Apple RRP.

gonna stick back to iPhone X, battery just changed in end Jul 2021 as it's still working well lol after 3 odd years of use.

I am thinking of whether should I upgrade or just keep using my iPhone X and replace the battery.
At first look, there isn’t any wow factor in this version. I guess the system is still going to have heat dissipation issues.
