It seems that 5G for Singapore iPhone 13 series is the same as iPhone 12. So the super fast 5G iPhone 13 cannot support
Correct. So you need the US version which has mmWave to take advantage of full 5G.

Ya I also find 12 Pro Max already very heavy. I wonder if the people who design the phone uses the phone themselves…
Yeah its heavy and clumsy AF. Worst iphone out...

Lol..Singapore Iphone13 can't take advantage of mmWave...Singtel=FAIL

There is no black or white. Either called Midnight or Starlight and Graphite or Silver 🤣

I think globally except USA model support mmWave, which other countries got it based on Apple network bands? There are different variant based on countries.

Anyone switched over from the Pro sized to Pro Max and disliked how it felt in the hand and is keen to down size? I have been using a XS for the past 3 years and wondering if i will get used to the larger Pro Max.
i upgraded from iphone4 to iphone6s+, followed by 8+ and 11pro max.

i never look back to getting smaller screen phones again.

of course i need to use 2 hands to operate the bigger iphones. but the bigger screen is worth it, especially for my old eyes. :)i can use bigger fonts.

  • n258 (26 GHz)
  • n260 (39 GHz)
  • n261 (28 GHz)

which Singtel has 28Ghz

Only US iphone 13 pro max has n258,260,261

  • iPhone 13 Pro
  • Model A2483

  • iPhone 13 Pro Max
  • Model A2484
SIngapore is

  • iPhone 13 Pro
  • Model A2638
  • iPhone 13 Pro Max
  • Model A2643
According to Singtel, the 28GHz 5G network is live at "several locations across the island", naming Orchard Road, the Padang area, and Marina Bay Sands Expo as three examples. Singtel said that it managed to get 3.2Gbps during internal tests using its 28GHz mmWave 5G network, having said that the speed was achievable at its pop-up store, Unboxed.

Together, this puts Singtel as the first telco in Singapore to offer mmWave 5G and to hit 3.2Gbps 5G speeds.

Unless you are buying the US version. you are getting a GIMPED iphone 13 from Apple.

I switched from 11 Pro to 12 Pro Max.
I am planning to make the switch back to 13 Pro.

You will definitely get use to it. You will get use to how bulky it is to carry it around.
How heavy that slab of metal is every time it enters your pocket and how you are relived of the burden when it’s out of your pockets.

I miss using the phone one handed.
IMHO, iPhone X was the sweet spot

Basically it’s the same as iPhone 12 series, only USA get the mmWave support and Apple didn’t expand the support globally yet.

Nevermind since mmWave need to be close to the base tower or supported area to get the insane fast speed as the signal strength travel short distance, so not really important.

Till today locally iPhone 12 series and above for now only support 5G NSA. More importantly is did our 3 telco get the carrier update from Apple to support local 5G SA with its Qualcomm X60 modem?

Currently only Samsung S21 series can support our local 5G NSA + 5G SA.

Someone tested 5G SA on Singtel. It is supported on the Singtel network, provided you change your sim card.
