I more scared of Microsoft one as I need it for m365

u referring to Microsoft Auth? To export and import, it's a bit on the tricky side. U needed to disable backup first etc.. I tried both MS and google auth, google one is more straight forware but MS auth is backup on your MS account if u had one. For me, I will stick to google auth for the easy export and import.

I heard from my friend that there’s a change in iPhone repair policy starting from iPhone 12 where faulty sets within warranty or Apple Care period won’t get a 1 to 1 replacement, but rather, repairing the unit like changing the screen, motherboard, back glass etc.

Is this true? Has anyone encountered any problems with prolonged repair times on their iPhone 12 with this new policy?

This is true! I had sent for repairs before for my IP11PM.. They repair and do not do one to one anymore. But for my case, after 3rd repair still cannot fix the camera hang (black screen), they did a one to one exchange. So, repair got a limit till they had to exchange a device. Just FYI.

Regarding telco cis plans...wow...m1 cis now so expensive. In Jan their mysim e 90 after discount is $54, now is $72.

After comparing, it seems starhub cis plan with iPhone is cheapest among the 3 telco, correct?

Thinking of going back to iphone from s21 ultra. Sometimes my s21u cannot pick up the touch on screen. At times when reading articles, as I nearing the end of the scroll, screen would be 'shaking'.

Then still worth getting Apple Care for new iPhone 13 or not? I saw someone at an authorised Apple service center making noise why he can’t do 1 to 1 exchange of a iPhone 12 with screen response problems. The service center can only do screen replacement so this customer damn dulan.

If u intend to use the phone for 2 years, it's worth it. Reason is iPhone can no longer repair by 3rd party shops as the internal components are being "locked" to the motherboard even if the shop is using original parts from another iPhone. This info is from a youtube video below. Basically, from purchase to repair, everything had to be done by Apple. Meaning from the day u bought the iPhone, u pay for the phone, Apple care (optional), subscription for more storage (optional) and repairs if any issues. Apple is really good at making money from head to toe. I think other companies are going to follow Apple footsteps, Samsung should be the 1st.

I am not sure as had not try them before. Maybe they had the equipment for the repairs to sync the parts to the motherboard? Maybe not all the "parts" are affected and screen is just one of them.

Different companies different price but for starhub I would say 90% of companies are getting 20% discount. But for caller id my experience was always free for all companies. Which telco so stingy to take out callerid?

I shall answer this. It's the biggest in SG, RED is their colour. If u wanna enjoy free caller ID, u need to subscribe to their useless service (can't remember the name and it cost $2 +).. In the end, u still "save" $2+ for the "free" caller ID. I am waiting for my contract to fully due, jump out of RED for good. Rather had cheaper plans and buy phone in full amount from outside shops.

I have checked with M1 cso pertaining to the cori plan increased to 20% Luckily for my company ComfortDelGro still at $54 for mysim e 90 until 31 Dec 2021 not sure other company
