The transactions were already posted in August.

So nobody gotten wrong rebates before?

I will just check with support.

My own calculation is that it is based on settlement date, not posted date.

Please let us know after you confirm with support.

I counted and only got 15% this month...but if I exclude the latest bulk posted amount on 28Aug then it is 20%.

So how do we tell when is the settlement date for any particular transaction?

How do you see settlement date?

I guess if haven't settle by end of month, it will not be counted.

I started mid August. So only first 2 transactions were settled by end of August.

generate statement, there is a column for "completed date".

SimplyGo often requires 5 days to settle.

yes can. i figured that if you add the virtual card, google somehow doesn't know that it is revolut (the card image does not have the revolut logo) and after i added the actual card number it does award. i gave up on google settling this virtual card not recognised for promos, they're simply very bad with resolving my trouble ticket taking 3 weeks to reply and asking me questions that they rightfully would have able to retrieve in their systems. by then everyone would have scratched the previous weeks promos, missing a number of scratches.

But do note that the card cannot add to simplygo for the longest time ever so if you're solely wanting the scratch card, just tap google pay with the added actual revolut card once per week will do (preferably low fare trip). this is in case in unfortunate scenario your fare is overcharged, without simplygo it's very difficult to claim the incorrect fare and none of these 2 organisation are sorting this issue out together.

Generate a Virtual (Mastercard) card and use that for SimplyGo. The main Visa card simply doesn't like SimplyGo.

Did you guys get any notifications telling you that you are eligible for the bus/mrt cashback? I didn't get any such rewards notification and was wondering if I am also eligible as long as I deposit $100

Did you deposit via bank transfer and not credit card? Also they only credit the previous month's cashback within 10 working days on the following month.

I haven't paid using revolut yet. I stopped because they stopped giving me notifications about the bus/mrt cashback a few months ago so i thought the promotion was over - but seems like you guys are still getting the promo notifications and thus still charging to revolut?

since revolut card top up and bank withdrawal no fees, what's stopping people from drawing down on card as a cash advance without the cash advance fees?

Getting suspended by Revolut.
in the first place, revolut has no appeal these days with the mcc code change. instarem has better value by passing on the original mcc which allows full rewards earning. compared to the benefit of drawing down the full card limit for cash advance, nothing of value is lost by getting suspended?

I suspect your transaction would probably trigger a halt for suspiciously high withdrawal value, assuming you have a mid-high 5 digit credit limit. And if you're just talking about a low-ish $10k cash advance for 1 mth, that isn't particulary attractive anyway.

limit should be 25k per transaction, nothing stopping one from doing multiples of that. 1mth of cash advance can be turned into 2 months if drawn on the first day of the billing cycle. many ways to get a good return on 60 days interest free loan. anyway, just putting it up for discussion. no need for it yet but if one day i decide to close out the account might as well go out with a bang.
