Is it the right time to buy S&P500?

The S&P 500 have had its run of extended period of losses. If you are just going to buy sp500 with its huge big tech exposure you may be in for a wild ride.

Not that I don't have sp500 funds, just that I have other funds to help pull up the performance.

Still waiting for dimensional funds to be available on cpf ....

huh? s&P500 has risen so much this year already. Sep usually is a beating up month. Drop a bit, but overall for 2021 is still a big increase.

it seems that S&P 500 is peak at this period and I think it won't be going down anytime soon. Hope the gurus can provide more analysis

I am talking about historically, sp500 have extended period of underperformance. It's just generally better to diversify properly across geographies rather than just being in sp500.

noted. but i dun think it is underperforming. it all depends on ur reference point. eg. compared to STI, it is a bull run.

Haha... Depends on your reference point as ive stated. Everything is relative.

As long as it meets your investment goals and is happy with the returns.

Should be the nikko am shenton sgd income fund.. from Fsm ytd -4%+

The other funds also hold significant china exposure. Together with EverGrande news china bonds has drop alot. My returns is only 0.3% compared to 1.3% few weeks before..

how does this compare to EndowUS Robo 100% equity

If you are talking about cash/srs:

Endowus's core advised portfolios mainly uses Dimensional Funds and tilts towards small and value caps. The portfolio also has EM + Pac Basin exposure to offset developed markets (mainly US since the core portfolio also contained S&P500)

Lion Global Infinity Stock Index Fund only has exposure to large and mid-caps in developed markets.

My CPFIS account with UOB just got approved yesterday, and I just linked it to my Endowus account today. Do I need to wait for a few days before creating the investment goal with Endowus? If so, how long should I wait, or will Endowus email me to inform me that the account is successfully linked?
