No 5G regardlessly from which region. till it officially sold by Google Singapore.
Just curious, actually why is it so? What make 5G so special that even the phone has built in 5G, our plan also 5G with even 5G SA SIM card it still don’t work for imported devices?

Compare with 4G network, any where we buy the phone will auto detect and connect to our local 4G and still work be it import or local set, so what the configuration that so special to 5G that only works with locally sold devices instead of it being “open” to any devices. It’s Google fault or our local telco at fault there that have such “block” in place?

By right in layman term, this should work as it is for 5G, it should be “open” to all be it import or local set when the prerequisite of 5G is met like:
  1. 5G enabled device
  2. 5G plan
  3. 5G SA SIM Card

software locked (hence people went through Xda guide to force enable 5g - need root if I remember correctly) which probably also why google needs to work with local carriers Take a look at their pixel 5G support page.

another example non local version of Samsung Galaxy devices, 5G locked either telco (korea version) or software based.

Anyway, 5G topic has been mentioned / answered many times in multiple threads liao. :s22: :s22: :s22:
