Pap has taught me that we should only care about them if they win.. they dun win, they aren't even worth our time talking.. Singapore only need instant winners, not feet draggers who takes time to nurture..
but loh has been in sinkie land since young leh 13 yo came to sinkie land and a product of Singapore sports school.

Proof that ns is no deterrent to greatness. Even the female finished second
Sad to say LKY shine at an older age.

Momota and VA are top 10 for years by the age of 24. Lots of experience gained. Even Lee Zii Jia is younger than LKY.

Badminton is about consistency. As long as LKY got chances to spar wif top players calibre daily, he gonna go far.

sadly, it’s not the top yet, like one of the edmwer pointed out here, badminton athletes usually peak at around 24 age. is true that ns took some of their precious time during training, but hope Lky the best and go far.

I haven't watched badminton seriously in a long, long while.

Used to enjoy following the rivalry among Malaysia, Indonesia & China (& latterly, Denmark) decades ago. Can match the players and their appearances (know who's who) + know the playing styles of the stars back then.
Loh is a good find for our sports school. He just defeated Taiwan chou and recently Lee zj, he should be able to get into top 10 players soon.
LZJ injured forced to give up...
He want face. He carry a big burden because of fame.

wonder how those past greats endured this sport for so long which requires so much great reflexes,
to the extent of stretching those limbs to the max & ended up injured :o
