FRS is FRS and is not related to whether or not you hold property. If you do decide to pledge your property, you can do so and have BRS in your RA instead.
There is a CPF thread that you can look for and read through that could help clarify.

Dont think there are any gd options for SA. Better to keep it and earn 4%.

I left my SA untouched and invested my OA instead.
Im transferring any excess of 20k to SA. Target to hit FRS in 4 to 5 years. Once that is done then will invest my OA

i was using SA to invest in Prulink Asian Income and Growth Fund from 2018 end...

price was quite good at that time...

this year starting to get shaky n i sold off in mid 2021. Got a profit of 21% and transfer back to SA....

so i am not planning to invest my SA for the moment....

I hit FRS liao and I still have some OA in excess, after paying my mthly housing loan. Hence, it make sense to invest my excess OA into diversified ETFs via Endowus and sell 20 years later. Hehe

43 hit FRS...

I 42 still haven't hit BRS even...

the only thing same is house fully paid... :LOL:
You idolise someone who stays in HDB ah? Haha, LOL......

Actually I didnt do much, just never stopped working since I graduated, and let my SA and MA build up over the years....After a while, the SA and MA will compound really fast 1.
