Wa Singtel is a joke, changed to the 4k box with MiO stadium 4k as downgrade from Desi value pack recommended by THEIR OWN STAFF . Suppose to get the movie channel 405 for free as stated by customer service. Past 1 week cannot get and then now they telling me that I can't get the channel cos MiO stadium package not applicable. Their T&C clearly states applicable to all subscribers that are subscribed to the 4k box without any mention of what package is required. So who's fault is this ah? The lady on the line also so rude still want try blame me. Really cock company

Anyone notice under Movie store where you can rent movie to watch only left Malay, Indian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Filpino no more English movie.
A big thank you once again

firstly, i confirm … if your singtel contract is going to end or ended … your best way of recontracting with good offers is to head to one of 4 designated ST shops (but if u can, avoid the ComCentre one … more of that later)
make sure it’s the Singtel TV counter that is serving you ! important !
if you’re already enjoying free STB rental … go only on the month your contract expiring (u can recontract 3 months before expiry but likely u won’t be given free stb rental etc)

monday, i went down to comcentre
the tv counter staff there not sure what’s her problem … told me no offers
i’ll have to pay $12.90 for my stb, $14.90 for my 2nd stb, and singtel tv go $6.90 … IF I DONT RECONTRACT
IF 1 year, i’ll have to pay $4.90 for stb1, $12.90 for stb2
very peeved even though i cited a friend was given 1 yr foc stb and 50% off family pack (mine is action value pack)
did nothing and left

today i was prepared to cxl my stb2, and recontract 1 yr at $4.90 stb1 …
i went down to CWP shop …
and lo and behold they outright gave me stb1 foc rental 1 yr, and upgraded my free 1 yr tv go from 1 device to 3 !
they can’t offer anything for stb2 so i returned that set (will use xiaomi smart box for tv go)

they asked me to return to them one year on !
excellent service ! 👍🏻👍🏻

i did raise the comcentre encounter … and they were perplexed
i know i was at the tv counter bcoz the person next to me returned a stb !
all the lady serving me said was no promo !
thinking back damn peeve !

My contract going to due soon, is there any designated ST shop that have Singtel TV counter at West area? Thanks

Interesting. As far as I know you need ONR --> TV box. Have they mentioned that they will change the ONT to ONR? I believe ONT will not work.

ONR -- Nokia or Huawei brand
ONT -- ZTE brand, or older Eriksson or Alcatel Lucent brand

So your Singtel TV box is now connected to the ZTE ONT directly? Or through a Singtel router?
contacted CS and was told via old set up ONT -> router-> tv box Or xchange to ONR with a fee of $100 !!!
Ask for waiver but they insisted NO although is a 1-1 xchange...Really CMI. Stick to old set up or get a used ONR lor...

Thanks for the updates. This clears up my doubts.

You have to stick to the old setup in this case.

A used ONR will not work.

via my old smart switch to do the vlan detagging, although i could experiment with enabling "ONR mode" on the zte ont itself, im not sure if anything would break :D

Haha, I do not think that ZTE in ONR mode will work.

Yes your connection is another good way.
ZTE ONT -- VLAN capable Switch -- SIngtel TV box

Or the following
ZTE ONT -- Singtel issues router -- SIngtel TV box

Techically other Singtel VLAN supported router will work as well but it is kind of wasted if you only need Singtel TV box while using other ISPs for Fibre Internet.

Just realise that Singtel has a new non-DVR set top box after browsing the support page
