Lesson we learnt about diversification in investment applies to bank acct too. We just kena DBS glitch recently and now this. So open many bank acct to avoid in critical times want to withdraw cannot.

Same concept for telco red, green, orange all take turns go down last time.

CIMB fastsaver bonus interest credited today. Normally credited on 15th.

CIMB does not process a month's bonus interest on the 15th of the next month if that 15th happens to be a holiday, even a weekend. One explanation I can think of is that some lackey at the bank needs to manually process the transactions, or worse, click "submit" somewhere. Seriously, I wonder how much additional income the bank is able to generate off the float (about 4 dollars per every account) that it has for over 2 weeks.

In CIMB's case (where I expect the interest to be credited later today) I just realised that the interest is paid by Giro. Speaks to an archaic system in place?
