This is not unique to CIMB. UOB also the same.CIMB does not process a month's bonus interest on the 15th of the next month if that 15th happens to be a holiday, even a weekend. One explanation I can think of is that some lackey at the bank needs to manually process the transactions, or worse, click "submit" somewhere. Seriously, I wonder how much additional income the bank is able to generate off the float (about 4 dollars per every account) that it has for over 2 weeks.
