Anyone has overheat and fast battery drain issue? Mine is quite hot some time and the battery can't last half a day even I enabled stamina mode.

Only social media apps, no google drive, no game.

Yesterday i did repair with xperia companian tool, and restored all the apps but haven't used all the apps yet. So far so good, no more overheat.

I tried opening 1 app at a time and get it shown in battery usage list and restrict the usage in background.

Am thinking of switching from XZ2 to Xperia 5 iii as well. Does your reply means the button combo no longer works on the Xperia 5 III?

Close unnecessary applications to free up ram, reboot should be better. Use only the able Sony provided, or, your USB cable might be faulty, connect to the strongest USB port (if the USB port has blue tongue that's the one to connect to ) also remember to free up your PC ram (same as mobile phone . Best to reboot too)

If I recall correctly, Sony phones USB to 3rd party device connection is disabled by default. There should be a toggle in the settings menu to enable it briefly. Under USB connection or connectivity ?

Some getting used to the changes. Random lags once in awhile but otherwise it's fine. Not digging the pulldown notification buttons
