updating for my iPhone 12 mini battery health after 3months at 89%. Today dropped, and now is 88% after 3 months flirting at 89%.

In the end of Dec will be 1 year old, I have missed the free replacement. Shet…

That's really bad, mine is at 94% after 1 year.

Sad to say, 12 series with batteries above 90% will fetch a better pricing than those under 90%.

Seems that iP12 series has numerous flaws

At least iP13 corrected most of the issues, especially battery. 13 mini can last 1-2 days while 13 can last 2-3 days with moderate usage

Trying to top up ez-link card using ez-link app on my iPhone 12. Put the card on my phone but it is unable to detect, still show scanning. Any advise? Thanks.

Make sure it's a ez-link issued card(must have ez-link logo on the back) and not a transitlink concession card or flashpay card. The card should be positioned along the upper 1/3 of the phone on the back and don't shift it around while it's trying to detect.

Just witness a friend topping up with his iPhone 12 Pro Max so I'd say it still works these days.

AFAIK, the card's serial number has to start with 1000 xxxx etc, and just hold the card to phone until it finishes scanning. Should see the percentage rising.

Thanks. Yes it's ez-link and starts with 1000 but didn't manage to get it to work. Borrowed a friend's Android and got it done very quickly. Don't know if it's my phone or the app.

Cards with 100X also will work. But i find out that you need to have a small gap and not just pressing the card against the back of the iphone. Below the camera bump is the sweet spot for me. Once you do it a lot more times, soon you will auto know where is the spot.
